What are you listening to at the moment?

Thanks for reminding me of this post, Joe. I don't do playlists but I do listen to music.

Most recently, "Emanon", Wayne Shorter Quartet. I was hoping Shorter would get the Grammy this year and he did. Of course, the Jazz portion of the Grammies were not broadcast since celebrities rule the airways while innovative 85-year olds are best hidden away.

Currently enjoying greatly Purcell's "The Fairy Queen" by the London Classical Players, conducted by Sir Roger Norrington. Superb playing and singing...

Listening to some of Vivaldi's sacred music from a 10 CD box I've had for 20 years or so. The recordings are from the 1970's but hold up very well.

Keith Jarrett & Charlie Haden "Jasmine" stunning performance & great recording

Mahler 9th, Bernstein, Concertgebow Orch. Amsterdam.
Listened to the first two movements last night and couldn't fall asleep for a long time.

Maybe I shouldn't continue with the last two movement to get a better sleep tonight.
