Ignoble Miscreant
Just switched from Buddha Bar to the Bach Cello Suites played by Michael Vogt, a Viennese friend. A recent release mastered also by a friend who is an RE genius. He has a mic'ing technique which is unrivaled. All in all quite nice. No surface noise. ;o)

Pat Senatore Trio "INSPIRATIONS"
I picked this album up at a used CD shop in Yokohama (it was really cheap). The only reason I bought it was because Pat Senatore was the bass player for Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass back in the '60s. Surprisingly Herb Alpert performs on 2 of the tracks of this CD. Anyway, it's a killer jazz album and I listen to it frequently; it's the definition of "good stuff".
Tracklisting:
01. Anthropology (Parker-Gillespie) 4:52
02. Miyako (Wayne Shorter) 6:27
03. Road Song (Wes Montgomery) 5:25
04. Laura (David Raksin) 3:57
05. Song of the Jet (Antonio Carlos Jobim) 7:10
06. The Duke (Dave Brubeck) 3:49
07. Fun Ride (Bill Evans) 4:07
08. Georgia on my Mind (Hoagy Carmichael) 6:09
09. The Theme (Miles Davis) 6:34
10. Two for the Road (Henry Mancini) 3:17
All the best,
Mike
