have to say that im loving my xe2 and 18mm lens, great combo that made me cancel my x70 preorder.
also have the 35 1.4 for when i want a 50mm focal length

I have two bags. One has two zooms in it; the 18-55mm and the 55-200mm. The other has the 14mm, 23mm and 35mm (f/2). Depending on how I'm feeling the single body I own goes in one bag or the other. Since I'm a short focal length kind of guy I love four out of the five.

The 14mm is a wonderful wide angle. Definitely sharp. A large lens for mirrorless.

The 23mm is the elephant in the room. Probably the best lens of the lot but it is a substantial sized beast.

The new 35mm f/2 is a wonderful lens. It is small light and weather resistant. I'm hoping Fuji comes out with a series of these smaller WR f2 or f2.8 lenses.

The surprise for me is the 18-55mm zoom. Just a wonderful versatile lens.

I was just handed an XT-1 from my old man! He bought a 56mm and a 18-135. I don't much care for the zoom but the 56mm is niiiiice. A bit telephoto for me however. I have the usual 35/50 in Leica and Sony E mount and enjoy them but think I wanna buy an ultra wide this time. I've never really shot with an ultra wide, just a fish eye, and loved the feel especially in confined spaces. At this pt, I'm debating between the 14mm and the 16. According to the poll, the 14 is the winner. Any arguments or cases to be made for either? I know I can't really go wrong in either choice, but would like this next one to really get me off my ass and shoot more. I haven't shot as much as I would like.

IMHO, the 35f2 could be the start of a new generation of lenses which have fast af speed.. The 23f2 that is on the roadmap is a lens I've been eyeing for quite a while. After hearing about how well the 35f2 has been performing I've got high hopes for it. Since they already have a 28f2 I doubt they will replace it anytime soon. But maybe a 24f2 or f2.8 may eventually come down the road.

The fast f1.4 lenses have to move a lot of glass vs something as small as the glass on the 35f2. Even if they use the same af motors on a fast lens, that is a big difference in mass the af motor has to account for..

28/2? Did I miss one, Gary? And what is this 23/2 "on the roadmap" of which you speak? I just had a look at the Fuji roadmap and I don't see either of these lenses. Hmm.. :)

recently l have used the 18/2 a lot, however l hanker for a 27mm not sure if its just GAS and how justifiable is it especially as l already have the 35 1.4
