What body to have for collecting?

I actually have no desire to collect "important" cameras, strangely. Collecting cameras for me to use is another story.

No, it would be like owning something owned by Che Guevara.

The moment someone compares something to Hitler that is not Hitler, I stop respecting their opinion because it is such a lazy comparison. I'm sure you are a thoughtful individual so maybe you might want to rethink speaking in such absolutist terms as it might cause people who would otherwise listen to you to tune out.

I was comparing collecting something of Che's to collecting something of Hitler's. I choose neither. If someone thinks less of me because of that, so be it. 🙂

I wouldn't have any problem about owning things that belonged to Hitler.

People kill for different reasons...

I would have killed Hitler.

I would have never killed Che.

I'd love to use any object that belonged to Che, especially a camera!

Oh, come on. This is so easy: you need to pay an enormous amount of money for my 1956 DS M3 - after all (check the serial number) it is unique! No other M3, AFAIK, was made with that number. You can then have a "unique" Leica, and I can have an M9 and probably enough left over to buy an M3 (again, because I wouldn't be without one).

OK. The deal doesn't sound so good from your end. But from my end it looks fine. 🙂 Do you think we can do business?
