The Oly Trip 35 is dead easy and just about as sharp as anything out there.
Considering it only has two shutter speeds, it's a remarkable little
point and shoot.
No batteries either. Pretty slick for a very inexpensive little camera designed in 1967.

Ricoh R1. Olympus Trip 35. Both excellent choices. Ricoh can be had cheap-ish (mine was $30), the Trip for the cost of a can of soda.

The Konica Big Mini has a very sharp lens - and the shutter goes as far as 4 sec. great for night shots. Exposure compensation, rather powerful flash for such a small camera, fill flash and macro.

Qlympus XA2 with 400ASA film B&W or Colour really delivers and can be picked up for very little money, I have two, 2 Mju 1s, and a Mju 2 but prefer the XA2 you just can't go wrong with it.

Another vote for the Olympus Stylus Epic! (Mju II) I'm seriously in love with mine.
