I got a respiratory infection. Went out yesterday afternoon to photograph in the cold and by yesterday evening I was getting sick.

Christmas eve I opened the mailbox and found a little package which contained a SBOOI, which I let warm up to room temperature (-20C) before I attached it to my iiif.

Some books and a bottle of scotch were also under the tree.

My wife gave me an Oleson screen for my Rolleicord III. Just installed it... woo hoo! What a difference! I can now see through the taking lens when shooting indoors.
Best gift of all will be seeing my daughter and her fiance when they arrive in about an hour.

I sold a Canon P to a RFF fellow. Bought 2 tickets for a classical concert in Munich from the money I got. Happy wife, happy me and happy RFF fellow (I hope)...

A waterproof fisherman's cap - I don't fish, but great when I take the dog out in all weathers:
A bottle of Scotch - always a sensible gift.
A hair brush - still have some hair to brush and this one should see me 'out'.
Sundry books and packets of sweets - milk chocolate frogs, toffees, and chocolate. Not good for the teeth and I haven't so many of them as I used to have!
Nothing photographic!

My M5s need red dots!
Mostly clothes... and among them a t-shirt with an image of a Holga on it, thanks to my lovely wife. It'll be worn...

It seems I was a good guy this year, because Santa delivered several nice gear gifts:
CV Nokton 50/1.5
Fuji X100 and Gordy Strap and Lensmate Thumbrest
Canon S100
f-stop watch
For my wife a mobile phone Samsung Galaxy IIIS
And we enjoyed friends and relatives, as well as 007 Skyfall.

An LTM Summarit with M adapter for my M2 - with UVa filter and appropriate lens hood. Lens had been serviced about 10 years ago by Solms and in A* condition. Completely unexpected gift from the brother in law. Had got myself a camera bag and about 10 rolls of expired film from a local charity shop for £4.50.
