I'm still cowering in anticipation of Tom A's post. (Probably still counting...)
Keith & Bill: I had this problem a few years after getting "serious" about photography in the mid 70s. In the beginning, it was easy, since I settled on just two film types: Kodachrome 64 and Agfachrome CT18 (slightly slower at ASA/ISO 50). Then I discovered other film types, and promptly got lost in the sauce, so to speak. It took a while to sober up and find a few film types that simply "worked" to my eye. I still like to play with the odd emulsion or two once in a while, but my "staple" films are pretty much in place now.

Here's an old one, from 2008:

Almost all of the 120 got thrown out, although not by me
Too cold/late to go out to the garage to photography the current film ghetto.

Enjoy Life.
I have quite a bit of Kodachrome 64 in the freezer for a project this year. In addition I have APX 100, Agfa Ultra 50, Tri-X, Plus-X and some Fuji Pro color film. In addition I have some Fuji Fortia for when the colors really come out.
I even found some 100asa Kodak APS film, that's kinda funny. I still have a Contax Tix, fantastic little P&S, that I'll have to unearth to burn that film.

Thanks! Talk to me in a year, I will have either done a great job with the Kodachrome Project or be out on the street. I bought all this film when times were good, no way I could afford it now....it's been a rough 18 months.

Not too much at the moment (and none in my freezer);
35mm:
10 rolls BW400CN
3 rolls Ektar
8 rolls of walgreen's 400 color--some Fuji film rebranded, I think
120:
5 rolls of Ektar
2 rolls of Efke(?)* 100 speed BW *I think they are Efke, I'm not at home right now to check. They might be Foma.
Plus what's in the cameras, so 3 more rolls of 35mm and one more 120.

Lately I've been developing it in Rodinal 1+50 @ 20deg for eight minutes with minimal agitation and really like the look of this combo!![]()

Probably the oddest one in my collection is the redscale. I burned through two rolls fairly quickly but found the effect of it a little tiring. I don't see myself using the last roll anytime soon but I'll hold onto in case I get a craving for some odd looking pictures.

The question I have to ask is this:
Some people seem to have a lot of Kodachrome in their freezers (no names mentioned
) and I have to wonder about judgement day when Dwaynes officially processes the last roll ... EVER!!!!!
How many people people will be left staring into their freezers thinking ... "Oh sh!t! I wish I'd got around to using this."

Easy, The Kodachrome Project: it is a full time job at this point.
I shot 26 rolls in Times Square for the week of New Years, shoot it daily. I know I am going through a ton on Burning Man, the last space shuttle launch, etc.
If Bill Allard went through 1,500 rolls in three months in Peru in 81, I can go through 900 rolls in what is now 355 days.
That's my story and I am sticking to it...

I have just one roll of K64 I'm going to use for a portrait project. Wouldn't mind finding a few more rolls, but it seems a daunting task to find, even at $11-12 a pop.

I might have a line on more, a buddy of mine is 45 rolls too fat, all 11/2010 stock. I am also helping out Jeff Jacobson with his project in getting him KL-200:
http://www.jeffjacobsonphotography.com/about-the-last-roll
Two months ago I scored 40+ rolls of fresh 200 for him and set him up good, but he needs more, so I might trade some of my 200 for his 64.
The other thing to remember is that as Fall of this year rolls around, prices on this stuff is going to plummet as it will be worthless past 2010.
I think tomorrow I am headed to an iMax theatre to get a photo of folks wearing their 3-D glasses watching Avatar....so much to shoot in so little time.
