What films do you use?

Usually shoot Tri-x and/or HP5. Buy in bulk, and roll my own.

Last week I pulled a 150' bulk roll of techpan out of the freezer. Loaded up a about 4 cassettes to test it out.

This particular roll I liberated out of freezer at a university photo department where I used to work when they decided to go all digital. Its dated 06/1988. I know its been frozen since then.

Anyone w/ suggestions or experience souping it in Rodinal, or other dev.

135 B&W = RolleiRetro100 and RolleiRetro400 (APX is what both in fact are) and a bit Tmax100 and Orwopan400, for as long as those still last.

135 Color = Kodacolor200, but I wanna start shooting Portra160.

135 Slide = Agfa CT100 and Kodak E100G, also Kodak EDUPE rated @ 50 to x-process.

120 Color = Portra 400VC and some other expired stuff

120 Slide = Agfa 1000RS and Kodak E100G

fomapan 200. don't like it too much. the emulsion seems rather soft, easily scratches, even using leica cassettes and home developing, maning i'm pretty careful to avoid scratching. i've developed in rodinal, stand, and experienced a lot of grain.

I used to test every film i can get my hands on except those delta and tmax stuff i thought i could never be able to process... Trix, HP5, Neopan, pushing, pulling... but now I try to stick to iso 400, kodak or ilford, depending on the cheapest i can get when i need some silver 🙂

Anyway, I've seen here amongst others Agfa APX (25, 100...) - assuming you guys are relying on own stock, what will happen, when the last roll is used?

Update

Discovered Rodinal 1:100 STAND.... (I was waiting to use the last my Xtol Stock).

Since I only have Legacy Pro 400 (Fuji Neopan 400), I still shoot that..
I am just changing the developer. I am liking the "Stand" method so far.
