- A Leica M9 body, for the obvious reasons.
- In the "other" category, an Omega Speedmaster Pro, like the late-70s model I had (and somehow went missing one day). a truly good watch is a genuine keeper.

I need time, but money can not buy that.
Ricoh Wide Angle Converter for my GRD III (GH-2 & GW-2).
The rest goes for mortgage and bills.

Hmmm, other than an 28mm lens for my Leica M2 there is nothing really that would allow me to do stuff that I can't do already.
I just want to make lots of great and interesting pics and become a better photographer. If I can't do that with a D200 & a truckload of prime lenses & analogue back-up bodies, a 50-80-150 Hasselblad 500 C/M kit, an M2 with CV, & Leitz 25-35-50-90 lenses and some niceties as a Mju-II and a Canonet GIII QL17 ANDa rather nice studio set-up, do I even deserve any more gear?

M4, 50mm Summicron. Funny thing is that's not all that expensive.

I have an M9, but I would really like a second one and a Canon 5D Mark II w/ a few lenses.

I crave time.
X2.
With commute, I have a 12 hour work day. After time with family, I am lucky if I get to look at my camera gear, much less use it. So I don't need gear, just time to use what I already have.
Your 10 grand would do me no good. sigh.

A Mamiya 7ii with a 43, and a room large enough to stick a Howtek in.

An M9 + 35 & 50 summilux ASPH's would be a nice kit to have.

I almost bought one in 1974, the owner claimed it was originally owned by Steve McQueen?????

I agree with Chris and Chris - I would go for an M9, but first I would revel in having ten grand for a while. Not for too long though, the cost of an M9 could go up!

Well I do crave a Leica M9 but that is more pie-in-the-sky than anything else, as I'll absolutely never be able to afford one. If I set my sights a bit lower I'll be happier for it.
So M9 notwithstanding I'm currently craving an M6 (classic or TTL) and a 28mm elmarit, version III or IV.
