Snorting silver salts
It's not that I need anything, but if I could choose freely, I'd love to own a Summicron 2.0/35mm V1 in LTM, to use on my chrome Barnack. And have a SCNOO triggerwinder with it. Once I had a Leica IIIa and triggerwinder but foolishly sold it.
And I'd love a Super-wide Heliar 5.6/12mm in LTM too...
All these lenses would double on my Ricohs and as a result, I would not need anything else.
Well, maybe a Makina 6x7...

I crave a Nikon 18mm f/3.5 AiS.
...a Nikon F2A or AS with a very accurate meter. Black paint, thank you very much.
...a 50mm f/1.2 AiS.
...a factory Ai converted 10.5cm f/2.5 Sonnar.
...a mirror lockup firmware upgrade to the D3 so I can use a Nikkor 2.1cm f/4 O lens.
...a Hasselblad SuperWide C.
...the ability to shoot more film.
Above all, a job where I can pay for all these cravings.

Especially the 43 and 65...might spend half the rest on film and reserve the remainder for processing...
I use the Mamiya 7 & 65mm as my main body and lens lately. There are a few shots up at the recent end of my Flickr photostream. The 43mm looks about as perfect as one can hope for in that focal length, but I don't use that FL enough to justify getting one myself. Developing and scanning my own negs does save on processing costs.
I'd really like a lens for the M4 I bought this week. There are so many 35s, at such a range of costs, that I've had to plan this lens purchase more than any past one. A Lux FLE or Cron Asph would be nice, but I doubt I'll be able to save for that long

What gear are you currently craving? What if you got $10,000 from your rich uncle, Art Vandalay, and you had to spend it immediately one piece of camera gear. What would you get?
This would be your dream gear. This is the item you look at online all the time and drool over.
Please no "well, actually I'd take the $10,000 and put $5,000 into municpal bonds, and spent $150 on a Canon 50/1.8, $225 on a Summaron 35/3.5...."
Right now, perhaps largely due to my new found interest in medium format, I look at a Linhof Technorama with fascination.
I'd buy something that cost as close to 10k as possible (some kind of Leica I suppose?), sell it, buy an x100s, and put the rest into savings. I can't think of any other camera I'd like more.

If I had to spend it I'd just buy supplies: film of various formats, paper of various sizes, and chemicals.

Not much anymore which is nice however I still would like a
Mamiya 7II for travel
4x5 field camera (although might have that sorted out)
and a black paint M3 but unlikely to get one for a long while
What a difference two years make. Ive had a Mamiya 7II (which I used for abit of travel, to the Maldives) and sold.
I Bought an Ebony 45S which I still have and enjoy greatly.
Still not got a black paint M3 though...

Honestly? Right now, just about nothing. I am content.
But, the term "crave" often has little to do with contentment!
Maybe a nice DR for my M3, or perhaps a 50/1.8 for my Nex.

Agreed. I don't crave any gear but I do crave interesting subjects, scenes, stories, and for people to get their faces out of their cell phones.

I'd have to start with an M3 with a selection of lenses.
After that, I'd get a full range of lenses for my Hasselblad (I only have the 80mm), then a D800, and a 80-200 f2.8.

The best camera is one that still works!
Crave is a little extreme!

Simply a TLR. I've been looking at Yashicas for going on two years now, just haven't gotten around to getting one.

Bessamatic forever!
I f I realy have to spend it on gear - I would spend it for a nice 4x5" wooden wet plate cam and a workshop to learn this type of photographie and on a Polaroid 600SE.
But as this will never happen to me, I have to save up for a wet plate workshop and a starter kit to do my first plates with my little 6x9cm Voigtländer Avus. And the Polaroid 600SE will be a dream for a long time!

Some more tiny micro scope low power 1x-4x objectives for macro shots with a 4/3 camera.

I know I'm a sick man, but I don't really crave anything in terms of cameras or lenses. I would like to have a Voigtlander 35mm F/1/2 ASPH Nokton, but I'm not going through withdrawal over it.
I would get that lens, build my darkroom and spend the rest of the $10K from Uncle Art on a photo expedition to Tibet or maybe Vietnam.

I've been very lucky and have owned most of what I've "craved". However, I really fancy a Hasselblad XPan with 30mm and 45mm lenses. I'm just going through a panoramic phase.
Oh well, I'll just have to settle for a 16:9 crop of a scan from my Mamiya 7...
