It started with a Morris Mini, through a flock of Opels, a BMW 325i, then a BMW7351, a M5 and two Audi A4 Quattro 1,8T and now this; an Audi A4 Quattro 2,0T. Alongside this, we have a Toyota Corolla in the household.
Here my latest Quattro poses on a desolate forrest road in Sweden, some 160 km right east of Oslo. At this small dirt road in front of the car we saw tracks of three lynx (mother with two cubs) last year. In close vicinity wild wolves roam, - frequently they can be heard, taking down moose and deer and an occational farmer's dog.

Man alive can I remember all of this??
78 ?? VW rabbit
84 Honda Civic S (not the Si) Got 50+ mpg in 1984- and why is this such an impossibility today?
90 ?? subaru loyale
95 subaru outback & 91 toyota pickup
00 toyota tundra
of all of these the current truck and the honda are by far the favorites. And I'll say it again- if they could make a gas engine car that got 55 mpg in 1984 why can't they do it now?

My metro a '87 model I had it from 12ksm to 140ksm would still do 60 MPG (imperial), reliable but boring.

Poorly made and getting to be a rattle trap at 140,000 miles. Too bad for me, I have a fast rule that I keep all cars for 200,000 miles or until they cannot be repaired.
For all its rattles I'm only just about to spend the first dollars on repairs. My air conditioner is out and it's darn near Summer here in Arizona.

Many with 4 wheels and a few 2 wheelers - the oldest was a 1936 Ford sedan and the newest a 2001 Ford Focus. Many brands - MG, Plymouth, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Suzuki, Harley Davidson and Volkswagen (probably the majority make: 1954,1957,1964, 1965,1973,1974,1976). Most cars owned at once - 4 (too much upkeep). I currently have three, one of which I am getting rid of (my late mother's 1984 Ford with only 27000 miles on it). I offered it for free on Craigs List. It will soon being going to the local salvage yard. As I get older, the coolness of a vehicle takes a back seat to a cheap and reliable means to get from point A to B. It does have to have enough room for photo gear!

I drive a 2005 Honda Element in Sunset Orange Pearl, named "Animal." Mug shot attached.
Prior to this, I drove:
1986 Honda Accord, steel grey, "Zippy"
1990 Acura Integra, black, "Darth"
1996 Acura Integra, silver, "Estella"
Zippy was my first love and I mourned him when my brother killed him. Darth had little personality, so I wasn't as sad when my brother killed that car too. Estella... oh, Estella, I still miss her. I traded her in when I got Animal, and it was so hard to leave her on that lot.
I enjoy my Element a lot, but I admit I don't adore Animal like I did Estella. If I could have had two cars, I would have kept my Integra. The Element is certainly a better dog car, however.
