Just picked up this Konica III from my local craigslist. Thanks to the Forum here I found Greg Weber who services these and I've just sent this to him for cla etc. Looking forward to using it and hopefully posting some pics here.
More picture-frames, more mattes (already cut to size) and six metres of 'invisible' picture-rail system with associated hanging fixtures and so on. The living-room is getting a makeover.
A 24mm f/2.8 AIS Nikkor with an incredible amount of fungus under the front element coming from what appeared to be yeast spores but could have been anything I guess. The lens was in awful shape, rough, dry focusing, fungus, dirt. I took this shot with it last night before heading back to my apartment to repair the lens:
I found that the fungus threads hadn't etched the glass or coating at all which was a pleasant surprise. The helicoid focuses like butter now and it is going to be a great lens on my ancient D2Hs.
Picked up a cased Kodak Signet 80 with the extra 35mm and 90mm lenses, hood, and filters at an estate sale yesterday. Looked all over for the auxiliary finder for it with no luck. I guess I can just wing-it when using the other two lenses. This thing is an unwieldy box for sure.
I bought it a week ago but I only got to unpack it today.
Nikon F # 64248xx
Nikkor-S 58mm f 1.4 No1529xx
Everything seems to work fine even the clip on meter that came with it ! It came with a flash that is not for the Nikon and an old Soligor zoom lens that has fungus.
In the bottom of the half case is the name Miss V. Smith so I guess the camera has a name.
