its bizzare how the yashica t2's and t3's aren't as sought after.
my most recent purchase was an XA.
The Yashica T's as a whole - including the T4, would have been completely forgotten if not for Terry Richardson. I'm looking forward to shooting it. I think fixed lens point-n-shooters, except for a couple higher end ones - the Contax models, Nikon Ti's etc., are under-appreciated in general. I also think these cameras go in waves. I remember the T3 going for more then I wanted to spend a few years ago, probably "T4 spill-over". But I'll take that extra stop over the T4, don't care that it's not as cool looking, and in looking at the samples from this camera I've seen on Flickr, it definitely (to my eye) has that T* glass look. Reminds me of the Contax G glass. Certainly, quality glass from the samples I've seen.
I haven't developed my first roll yet from my XA. I'm a bit more selective with film than digital in what I shoot - but I just love this camera.
