its bizzare how the yashica t2's and t3's aren't as sought after.
my most recent purchase was an XA.
The Yashica T's as a whole - including the T4, would have been completely forgotten if not for Terry Richardson. I'm looking forward to shooting it. I think fixed lens point-n-shooters, except for a couple higher end ones - the Contax models, Nikon Ti's etc., are under-appreciated in general. I also think these cameras go in waves. I remember the T3 going for more then I wanted to spend a few years ago, probably "T4 spill-over". But I'll take that extra stop over the T4, don't care that it's not as cool looking, and in looking at the samples from this camera I've seen on Flickr, it definitely (to my eye) has that T* glass look. Reminds me of the Contax G glass. Certainly, quality glass from the samples I've seen.
I haven't developed my first roll yet from my XA. I'm a bit more selective with film than digital in what I shoot - but I just love this camera.

Saturday: Did my taxes, realized I was getting a larger refund than expected.
Tuesday: Sent an order to cameraquest for the CV 75/1.8, 21/4 M-mount and Zoom viewfinder. The total before tax was just under the amount of my refund (after tax, just over).
I don't like giving the gubmint a 0% loan, so, when I get a refund, I get myself a nice toy (camera toy or bicycle toy) to feel better about it.

90 mm Elmar collapsable with hood & caps
Canon IVsb with a W-Nikkor 2.8 f/3.5
and a Leitz 28-90 adapter to use the W-Nikkor on my M bodies.
I think I spend too much money on this sometimes.

I just purchased two Takumar lenses. A 28/3.5 and a 135/3.5. This will be my first foray into the world of uncoated screwmount lenses.
Does anyone on this thread have any of the Takumar's or these two lenses in particular? I plan on getting an adapter and use them digitally for now and hopefully in the future purchase a Spotmatic.

i got a spotmatic and the super takumar 55/2, so i can only speak for this lens, but the lens is well built, good haptics and nice performane (atlest in my opinion).
your lenses schould not differ in built quality
ot:
sigma dp2 with voigtländer finder and custom grip
i have high hopes in this camera
struggled a long time, but the deal was just too great to hesitate longer

A Fuji GA645zi off eBay. Nice camera. Haven't loaded it yet. Should be a bit easier to carry on trips than my GW690III (at the cost of a tiny negative
).

- Nikkor 55-200 telephoto lens for my D5000. Got the non VR version only because it was a steal at $60 for a good condition used sample. Got it mostly just "to have" and the price was right. Not a bad lens for a consumer-grade tele. 2 ED elements, 9 blade ap, and reasonably fast AF except in lousy lighting conditions. Don't really mind not having VR, consider this an outdoor lens where I'll be shooting at 1/300 min.

I have to confess that I am naturally a camera addict, and this forum is definitely not helping with the addiction... I have a new list everyday of equipment to look at ..
In the past month, I can link most of my purchases back to the forums or classifieds here..
Minolta Himatic S
Rollei 35T (Black, Singapore)
Yashicamat 124G
Fuji GW690II
Yashica Electro 35 GSN
Agfa Super Silette Automatic
Konica Autoreflex T4, 28/3.5 (7 element), 40/1.8, 50/1.7, 85/1.8, 135/3.2
Contax G2, 21/2.8, 28/2.8, 35/2, 45/2, 90/2.8
Olympus OM-1n, OM-2, OM-4T, 24/2.8, 28/2, 35/2, 50/1.2, 85/2
Nikon F3, FM3a, 28/2 AI, 35/1.4 AIS, 50/1.2 AI, 85/1.4 AIS, 105/2.5 AIS
Still interested in either an M6 or ZI, 35/1.2 & 50/1.5, and a couple Summicrons..
Also due to a couple new threads I may have to look at an XA and the Yashica T's..
