My first piece of leica glass that ends in "lux". It's taken 25 years and I finally have a 1966! 50 mm pre ASPH Summilux e43 in a nice condition, that is to say, a condition im not afraid to shoot! LOL Boy glad I didn't take too much longer - haha. Great experience on the classifieds here at RFF. I don't have a digital M. So the quickest results I'll have is from all that drug chain tmax400 and fuji 200 extra. Honey, it just don't seem right
can't wait

Rolleiflex 3.5F Xenotar. Slow speeds are too slow, and the bayonet for the viewing lens took a knock somewhere along the way so that the bayonet is out of true (and the shutter speed and aperture readouts have been displaced backwards in the window). But the viewing lens itself seems to be in alignment. Meter is fully working; all seems very smooth otherwise.

Whatever
Was going to buy a Nikon Df, but changed my mind and got something more sensible.....

Olympus put a "one day CyberMonday" sale up, so I took a look at their website. I found I could re-acquire the excellent EC-14 teleconverter as official Olympus Refurbished goods for a good bit less than I see them selling for used.
So I did.
The EC-14 works beautifully with both the ZD 35 Macro (netting a lens that can achieve 1.4:1 magnification at a comfortable working distance!) and the ZD 50-200/2.8-3.5 zoom lens. Fully weather sealed and well worth the price...

You can still find them cheap but the cover has been thrown as it had got worse than sticky.
I'll have to dust and clean it now I've shown it off.

Doing Pentaxes this week. I am waiting for two to arrive, an Asahi Pentax with the 58/2.4, and the Pentax AP with the elusive 58/2. And another Pen W is also on the way...
