What have you just BOUGHT?

Another full box of Kodak 9x12 Film Sheaths (brand new!)

And a 3.25"x4.25" Omega D-2 Negative carrier. By opening this up a bit, using a hand file, it will be perfect to enlarge full-frame negatives from my Plaubel Makiflexes. Only about .25" of metal removal will be required. Shown with Makiflex full-frame negative, which is roughly 9x9cm on a sheet of 9x12cm film.

A used but very clean SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/2. Now happily in place on the front of my Pentax ME F and awaiting a road test. :)

I have a OM2n and a OMF (with some off-brand lenses) on the way. They are bundled with a old Olympus leather/leather look-alike camera bag. $50 and change including shipping. Looked ok in the photos, so we'll see.

I have an Olympus lens book I'd like to send you. PM me with your mailing address and I will send it to you. Been looking for a home for this and I think I just found one. Cheers, Bob

Old palec light meter (Australian made), canon Demi, olympus xa2 with flash, yashica m 48mm 1.9, kodak 6-20 folder, pk mount 28-70 3.9-4.8 with macro and canon cp220 printer.
$45 the lot.

Here is my 300mm Rodenstock Imagon (barrel-mount) setup and ready-to-use.
Three of the 50mm tubes plus a 30mm allows for perfect infinity focus with this
very long Imagon.

Shown focused at infinity. Can't wait to get out and use this lens.
Sure it's big, but it's relatively lightweight and well-balanced on the Makiflex.

The OM2n and the OMF arrived in good shape. Actually the "new" OM2 is nicer than my current one. The foam is in great shape and I don't think I even need to replace the foam in either camera.

When I turned them on the meters worked--but OMF shutter appeared to be jammed when I checked it out, but the batteries were dead. Five fresh 357's and it fires like a champ. The OM2n fired three times and it too jammed, but it also seems to be related to the batteries.

Next, I need to double check the meters, then load a couple of short rolls (bulk load) and run it through the cameras.

I still kick myself for trading in my 85mm F2, but I needed a EOS1 body more than the lens at the time. Some day I'll have the money to replace it.

Poser shmozer....congratulations. Sounds like a fantastic set-up.

Bob,

Thanks. The black paint 35 Cron ASPH still has the stiff focus of a brand new /unused lens.

UPDATE: Today I ordered a Eizo CG-277W calibrated monitor. I'll be printing this fall and winter on a Epson 3880 that I bought last year using a $250.00 rebate.

Glad I waited on getting the Eizo because earlier this year it got updated with a self calibration, and the price dropped a lot from a year ago. I figure its the dollar/yen exchange rate compounded by a bit of deflation, although Epson rebates were bigger a year ago on the 3880.

I got 3 rolls of Velvia 50 to try for the first time, Portra 800, and also got a camera backpack where I got a camelpack bladder for a pouch in it. Created a fantastic day camera hiking pack. I enjoy hiking by the way.

That Velvia 50 has rich-rich colors if you nail the exposure. Good luck. A while back I secure 4 rolls of Velvia 50 in 220. Wish I had a freezer full.
