What have you just BOUGHT?

Nikkormat ft2, Nikkor-S 50mm f1.4, Nikkor-Q 135mm f3.5. Total for all three was less than $170. So my new film kit is 28/50/135. And I said I would never go back to film...

A LN Contax-G2 body and a LN- 28mm Biogon were the last things in the door. Now, I need another 45, I think so both bodies can have a normal lens.

Carl Zeiss Jena f8/2,8 cm Tessar black and nickel, very early (#1412288, first batch may have started 1933 close to #1412201 according John Keesing's Contax Lens Book). Will fit perfectly to my Contax I Version 3 or 4, which should arrive soon from repair/CLA.

Happy,
Walter

Leitz Summar 50/2 in exceptionally good glass condition from a fellow member. Can't wait to try out on my II and IIIf.

Adorama Slinger Professional camera bag...brand new at a thrift store $7.25. It seemed like a good item for bike riding...but I don't own a bike.

Yesterday: A Voigt 15mm/4.5 Super-wide Heliar... the older, non-coupled LTM kind. With external viewfinder, all in good shape but for some minor brassing (steeling? aluminuming?) on the tips of the hood petals; paint just ain't Cosina's forte methinks. 8,000 czech korun, which seemed a fair enough price to me.

I'll have the first roll taken with it off my Leica III developed tomorrow, it will be exciting to see how it went :)

You are the one! :D

I as others simply were to slow for that beauty, should you ever get tired of the lens, let me know ;)

Panasonic GF2 with the 14mm f/2.5 and the EVF.

I wanted something more compact than my G1--the GF2 fits more readily in the glove compartment. The upcoming GF3 looks too dumbed down for my taste and (apparently) does not take the EVF.

Ah, I've got to stop going into FotoSkoda in Prague. A new-old-stock LTM 50mm/1.5 Voigtländer followed me home this time. Chrome; it looks very pretty on the M3.

Congratulations. I had this lens for the Nikon RF. You'll be happy with it, I think.

Thanks - scanning the first roll now. It looks to be properly sharp where it should be, and unsharp where it shouldn't! It blocks the viewfinder of the Leica III something fierce though; it will be more at home on my M3 or M5.
