What have you just BOUGHT?

I just bought two non-working Yashica T3s. Going to attempt to turn their waist-level 'super-scopes' into a hotshoe mounted finder for the Leica!

Just bought a black pentax mx and got a 50 f2 with it, bought a revue 55 1.2 lens and am currently being nervous about a local auction with 2summicrons in the deal at current price of around 300$ ... a good day :D damned gas will be in control for a while...

Yesterday, I bought the Olympus 35SP I've been lusting over...I'm hoping to finish the roll and develop it today...

Fuji GF670

Fuji GF670

Have just put first roll through this beauty. Have worked out that I have enough room for a darkroom at my office. Happy days.

Two rolls of Fuji Superia 1600 and three rolls of Ilford HP5+ 400 for a total of EUR 28.50. For german price levels one of the better deals...

In the last few days I have bought:
- Yashicamat with the Yashinon 80mm lens
- Zeiss Ikon: Ikoflex 1b, with original hood, yellow filter, case and manual
- Yashica-44 - with manual, case and lens hood

Will probably post a photo and some other things about them soon :)

Olympus C-1400XL, vintage 1998 and digital, in a charity shop. That's a D-620L (for our American friends). Is any one else collecting elderly digital cameras?

Regards, David

Over the last week:

-some Speed Graphic lensboards.
-a set of Dr. Farber's lens elements for a B&L shutter I've had for a while.
-a Kiev-6C MF SLR, which needed a little bit of work, but is now running a test roll.

Have one of the Bessa RM2 Anniversary sets with the 50/2 Heliar on its way from our bartender. Haven't been able to shoot film since drowning my M6ttl (sigh!!!!) whilst hiking in NZ last summer. Hope the bessa will go some of the way towards easing the pain of that loss.

Voigtlander never ready case for my Bessa II - off of evil bay. And for $9:95 + shipping. Beats the $85 for the same case that Kevin's Cameras is selling. The cool thing about it is that while not mentioned in the ad, the original owner had his rank, name, and USAF professionally tooled into the leather top. Inside he inked his name along with "20th AF" and "Okinawa." Which tells me he was there during the late 40's - early 50's because the 20th AF was inactivated in 55 while responsible for Japan's defense during the Korean War and then re-activated in 91 for ICBM duty. I just retired from the USAF last year while assigned to the 20th AF Small world.
