What have you just BOUGHT?

I've purchased recently:

June: (2) Canon EOS-A2 with 28-105 and 19-35 zooms, and 85mm f/1.8 , and Canon F-1 with 50/1.4, case and accessories from an antique store in Camden, SC. $200 for the lot.

July: $100 for a Mamiya C330 with 80/2.8, a Petri manual rangefinder, and a Canon FTB with 50mm, all as a group.

Just Now: 180mm f/4.5 lens for the C330 🙂

Pentax 70mm f/2.4 Limited, from RitzCamera on eBay... $399 new. Retail is $499, and several eBay vendors offered it around $460, none lower except Ritz. Made me wonder how Ritz can do that, profitably. But they shipped it promptly and it arrived fine, though the product packaging looked a little shop-worn.

Made for APS-C digital sensor, I will see how it performs on full frame...

A beautiful Stereo-Nikkor ;-)

Just purchased a new old stock Nikon LS - 2000 scanner.

I inherited a massive collection of slides that my Dad took over the course of his 23.5 year Naval career. Hope to start scanning some of these that start with WW2, Korea and the early part of the Vietnam wars.

Very cool! I have trove of old slides from my dad too (shot primarily in HK and Japan, but some on summer vacations in the US) -- haven't even begun the process of selection (light table) or scanning and I really should. In any case, do share images once you get into the project!

EDIT: Recent purchases for me are an Oly Trip 35 as my "briefcase camera" and a 50 Summilux pre-asph (E46 version). Finishing up my book manuscript so little time to shoot, but hope to remedy that here in August. As I'm moving away from high contrast modern lenses, I'm still on the hunt for a late run 35 Summilux pre-asph (Germany made) -- but wish very much I had the money in pocket for the Nikkor 35 1.8 LTM that just went up on eBay. *sigh*

Couple of deals fell through recently....No mountain-elmar or Leica IIIf for me. 🙁

So I've invested in some more bulk film and sheet film for the upcoming holidays.
And I've bought a "Graflex 22" roll film adapter for my Kodak Auto Graflex. (Slightly different to the "Graphic 22" that fits on the spring/graflok backs).

What did you do, go back in your time machine, and mug a pro?

Lol...
Yes. The old gentleman likely fancied himself to be a fine portrait photographer. There are several diffusion filters in the kit as well.
Either that, or he had a homely wife... or kids... or an old basset hound he enjoyed taking pictures of. 😀

Not a camera accessory necessarily but something that makes the shooting experience better. Bought some NikWax TechWash and some Wash-In DWR stuff for my Patagonia rainshell so I'm not totally drenched when I shoot in downpours.
