A back brake for one om my bmx bikes, wife thinks l am mad for still riding bmx at the age of 52, worse than mad for having no brakes

I just bought a CLA & Leicavit adaptation for this M4. 50years. Now runs smooth as silk & good for another 50. What a mechanical & artistic design wonder! Thank you Don Goldberg at DAG.
A truly beautiful object, l do not know how many members there are in this fine forum, what l do know is everyone of them would drool over this wonderful camera:cool:

Just a week after getting the 7artisans 25mm 1.8 I got yet another. This time the 7artisans 55mm 1.4. Both for use on the Fuji XT1.

My mother picked me up an EOS 3000 SLR at a thrift store for $5. Over the phone, I asked her which lens it had on it, and told her it would say something like 28-80mm or 35-70mm.

She said "38-76"

Thinking she had no idea what she was talking about because I had never heard of that lens, I told her I will see when she gives it to me.

Sure enough, she gave it to me yesterday and it had on it... a 38-76mm lens.

Mother knows best.

I bought 2 boxes of "3xLomo 110 Tiger 200" film from WEX. It was a bit of a struggle with a long story which I won't go into, but it worked out in the end. Here's a pic:

Another XD7 and a Shift CA 35mm.

Bought two replacement rubber belts for my vintage Imacon Photo scanner. Current ones are still good but I thought it best to stock up on an extra pair now that they still can be had. Found them on eBay.

A Univex Mercury II that looks good but I don't know if it works properly (but with an accordingly nice price). And also a custom made adaptor for 104 format camera (to 120), and 500 ml of R09 "rodinal" developer.

I bought a third box of "3x Lomo 110 tiger 200" film. I got this one from an ebay seller based in Hong Kong. It arrived today - 6 days before the earliest 'expected' date, and I ordered it less than 2 weeks ago and I only paid £1.50 p+p! The box itself cost £19.60 which is a little above the list price of £16.90.

Edit: I've just checked what date I ordered it and it's less than a week before it arrived from Hong Kong, using no special delivery or anything!

I just purchased some Nikon F stuff. Two items surprised. An F with an eye level prism is like a totally different camera from one with a big, clunky meter head. Smaller, lighter, much more practical in my mind. Never liked my first go-round with Nikon stuff, but they were all metered. Second surprise was just how affordable -- as in dirt cheap. -- this stuff sells. Lenses in the 50-100 range! Cameras with the desired plain prism for 150. Great values. We'll see if they catch on this time round.
