Oh, nice find! I am still looking!
Decided to dig into my grocery money for this month to fund a black paint Nikon F prism in brilliant condition that was sold on a Dutch vending site for little over EUR 100!Last one that sold on eBay brought close to EUR 300
It came today, shockingly clean!
Restocked the cellar for the rest of the month, ten days 'til pay-day![]()

Should be here in a couple of days...
I have a Takumar 28mm 3.5 lens (the 58mm version) and I don't have a hood for it...
Found one on ebay and bought it...not the original one since they are hard to find and a bit on the pricey side...this one will work just fine...

A Summarit-M 35mm, on the basis that I'll never be able to afford a good Summicron 35mm of any type or vintage now prices have shot up (an M3 'cron 35mm with goggles was about $300 a few years ago, now it's more like $1500). Erwin reckons the Summarit is just as good, anyway. As for speed - half a stop less than a 'cron, but a full stop more than my Summaron screwmount.

The Summarit is in perfect condition but is missing its "protection ring", the thing that protects the hood threads when a hood isn't fitted. The shop couldn't find the ring so they're just going to send me the hood instead. I told them it was over 100 quid but they said not to worry. Result!
I need to order the ring anyway - it has a part number - to reinforce the front of the lens when the hood isn't on.
