I waited a loooong time, but I just bought my first Leica.
A 1961 M3 in decent, user condition.
Leather's been replaced, strap lugs probably should be, slow speeds are a bit sluggish but optics are completely clear, there are no signs of separation in the finder and the mechanics seem completely correct other than the sluggish 1 and 1/2 second speeds.
Thanks to a very generous loan of a 50mm Summicron-M 50/2 ASPH from my brother-in-law I was able to shoot my first roll through it two days ago and I hope to develop it later this morning.
Now I need to go lens shopping ('cause there's no way he's letting me keep that 'cron!).
I'm going to hate every minute of that!

A FED 3. Seems to work, except the shutter speed dial seems to be mis-aligned. It will do fast and slow shutter speeds, but not when lined up with the proper number.
Trying to find a fix or just learn to live with it.

At least for the version of FED 3 I have (a FED 3b - tall and flat upper case, but if more distinctions than FED 3a - the view finder part sticks up - and FED 3b is needed, I don't know those) the shutter speed dial only show the correct speed when the shutter is armed and not before.
Is that how yours work too? Or is the shutter speed knob set wrong (there seems to be a small screw on mine that could possibly be used to fix such a problem)?
My FED 2, FED 3 and Zorki 4 from a long time ago.

Yah, it's wrong when it's cocked.
The previous owner was probably changing shutter speeds when uncocked and it got misaligned?

Ok. I'm a bit worried that it might be worse than that, though, but I really do not remember if moving the shutter speed when uncocked would mess the mechanism up or just be annoying since you don't know what you have set for speed. Perhaps move this part to the FSU area and see if someone more expert can help.

- for my project to make a DIY gallery rail system to convert the stairway of my parents house, which I had taken over recently, into a gallery displaying my photos.
ok, now that I posted this I reached the point of no return, hope to be able to show you some photos of the finished stairway sooner than later

Last week I got a Lumix G 2.5/14mm for my GX7. Less than 1" thick I do not even notice it in my bag.

And, coincidentally, the back to school sales are just starting up here so I can get some Elmer's glue at a discount.

My wife wanted something more than her phone but smaller than the D5300 she's had for a few years. Swapped the Nikon for a Sony A6000 and somehow a M to E mount adapter found its' way into the bag.

Well as the seller of the 225 pulled out I bought a Domke 803 Rugged wear bag and then got a Panasonic 17 1.7 for a very good price. Not too bothered about the 225 as I fancied an 803 for a while had the J version years ago and sold it (don't like black) so I am happy for this one in a better colour. Personally I only seem to like Billingham and Domke bags.

Konica Hexar RF and a Thumbsup CSEP-1S which was meant for the M9.
Camera is in great condition (with a six month warranty), later production 145xxxx and the Thumbsup fits it perfectly without blocking the rear door.
