I’ve shot film most of my life but never medium format.
I decided that couldn’t go on. Bought a Pentax 6x7 MLU, unmetered finder, late model 200mm f4, Nikon F100 diopter (fits the Pentax prism), Pentax Spotmeter V, a pro pack of Kodak Portra 400 in 120, and a H&Y filter set. The main idea is to use it as a landscape shooter almost entirely. I need some more lenses but I’m waiting for the right price.

Acquired a black Rollei 35 in December to relive my experience with that camera in the 70's. Then, this month bought a second chrome version and just love these little gems. But I can stop at two.

Just received my Toyo VX 125.
Also purchased a Busch Pressman D (4x5) with the Vue-Focus rangefinder on top. This is a combination viewfinder/rangefinder. Makes it the only "common" 4x5 camera that has both in one window that I am aware of.

Ichirō Kojima Photo Book...
Ichirō Kojima Photo Book...
This month I picked up a photo book from one of my favorite Japanese photographers... "小島一郎写真集成" by 青森県立美術館 ("Ichirō Kojima Photo Collection" by Aomori Museum of Art) - 2009.
Kojima (1924~1964) was from Aomori Prefecture... served in China during World War II, returning to Aomori in 1946 where he helped out in the family photographic equipment business and participated in an amateur photography group (Hokuyoukai). His short, 10 year span of activity until his death in 1964 at the age of 40 produced (IMHO) some excellent work.
Kojima's images emphasize the bitterly cold climate of the Tsugaru and Shimokita regions of Aomori Prefecture. He was known for the dark forbidding skies of his print work. The below images are from the book © Ichirō Kojima, not the best of, rather a couple that I liked on first review.

The hard cover book has 185 photographs (locations & dates are noted), plus a 30 page biography with personal / family photos and a photo-shoot location map from Aomori Prefecture. Most photos are b&w although there is a smattering of colour prints... I like the winter images. One review noted that although the book is oversized, some of the prints are postcard sized... not an issue in my opinion. All text is Japanese.

Not sure if you'll see this as your post was years ago, but I just bought the same camera - Petri 7s, and have been struggling to get to grips with it. I suppose it's a general question about RF's in general but I haven't found a specific thread to read on it.
The problem I have is very soft images when I take a photo at f16 for example. It definitely seems sharper with better detail and contrast when I shoot wide open.
Having now run and developed about 5 rolls of film through it I think the issue is with the diaphragm being sticky which I suppose could throw out timings on the mechanical shutter speed?
Is this something I could have a go at fixing myself?
It's my first RF and I realise it's old, it's the first time I've used it and also my development process has been all over the place so there are many variables but those are my questions!

Hasselblad XCD 90mm f/3.2 lens ... One popped up secondhand and mint condition for a good price. That made the decision between the 90 and the 65 easy.

This adapter so I can use my old OM lenses with my newish e-m1 mark ll. Found this adapter never used for 35 euros. Wanted to see what these old lenses, a 28/50/135mm, would look like working with a modern digital sensor. Did a quick test Friday afternoon. The image stabilization works great. Need to play around with the peaking function for focus. Not familiar with what is possible. But even my first awkward attempts at manual focus produced sharp results even with the 135mm which given the sensor size becomes a 270mm focal length.
And a box of Photo rag baryta from Hahnemuhle. This for use with my epson p600. Been using mostly canson papers, Baryta Photographique, platine fibre rag, velin museum rag, and wanted to try something new.

Have now a Canon 7sz which had a "bad" light meter...from the E auction site. After removing top found two things....the contacts for test and on were suffering a need for abrasion to remove corrosion and the Cd sensor had oxidation needing delicate cleaning after removal from the little lenses used for calibration and after also...after removing the "main frame" cover installed new foam light seals which were mostly "gone". Operates nicely now. At some future time hopefully I will learn to post pictures. Am also working on refurbishment of another 7s but having winding problems and getting it back to operational condition but this one was "forced"...and had missing parts when I received it...so it may remain in "parts" as I want to clean a Contax I that came in from Belgium.....nice!
