I've been looking to hack together a camera using a torpedo camera back, and went down a rabbit hole...
I posted previously about a bunch of lens cells I got from goodwill; one of those 135mm Symmars will stay and be hung in front of the torpedo back.
Then looking to create a more handheld panoramic, I wound up getting a user Mamiya 50mm f/6.3 for a Mamiya Press.
Then...
I saw how modular and customizable this system is and I wound up with a total of three 6x9 film backs, two Mamiya Super 23 bodies, two grips, and an additional lens, the 150mm, with a slow shutter that needs to be flushed.
One of the Mamiya Press bodies will get a flat top do and live with the 50mm, the other will get restored and be usable for the whole system of lenses, if I decide to go that route.
I need to get rid of some motion picture gear and a few typewriters now. Too much ballast on board.

Did you ever get that super angulon 47mm? Your post inspired me to finish the roll of film and even a second ..to break out my Veriwide 100 and familiarize with it's quirky controls. My super angulon is a f8. I believe they came out with a newer one min aperture 5.6? Not to worry though, 400 asa helps a lot so I can hand hold. The thing really needs to be on a tripod most of the time.

Nope. I kind of still want one but the difference in focal length respective to the diagonal of 6x9, 6x10 or 6x12 is so small between the 50mm and 47mm that I'll hold off on the 47mm for quite some time. I almost pulled the trigger on one but then found the 50mm Mamiya lens then all the rest of that kit and it was less than 1/4 of the cost of a working 47mm f/8 in an ancient Compur shutter.

Two tamron lens cases designed for 20A's, one to replace the slightly battered case for my actual 70-150mm 20A and one for my Tokina rmc smz335 35-135mm lens. It seems Tokina didn't make hard cases for their lenses (or I can't find one) and with the rather deep rear tamron lens cap the length of the two lenses are almost the same. I did get a Tamron lens case for a 22A, but I thought I'd ordered one for a 40A, and the one I got is a bit too long and wide, so there's more rattling than I'd like.

The last camera I bought was a nice old black Nikon F with some lenses (2/35, 2/50, 1.2/50 and 2.5/105) from the same time ... to be honest one of the reasons to buy it was how good and cool it looks 😉

1913 Ernemann Miniature Klapp, 4.5cm x 6cm, about 1913 (the later versions had two knobs on the side for the shutter like the Ermanox). Included in the kit is its case w/key, two glass plate holders and a Rhaco clamp-on lens hood/filter holder. This camera was pretty much the predecessor to the Ermanox (but of course the Ermanox had a very different lens). This camera is really small!
The glass is in really excellent shape (after I cleaned it), but the shutter needs help. So it will be sent out along with the Ermanox, hopefully next week.
