What have you just BOUGHT?

N70 price

N70 price

Nikon N70 ($26.00) as back up to my other N70. Also a 28-70 3.5-4.5 AFD

I practically weep when I see what used N70/F70s go for nowadays. I bought mine new in 1997 and still have the box, which has sticker saying AUD1285 (Retail) or $970 (duty free) on it. Historically we get reamed here on camera gear but still... :(

I agree the price nowadays is stupid low for what these cameras can do. I skipped the AF film SLR boat almost completely until recently. My 68 year old eyes like AF now! (BTW, the camera came from KEH in EX condition at $26.00.)

a Beseler 45MXT - picked it up saturday a few hours from home. Missing a few minor parts, and some odd rust on the main plate, but very good shape overall. Has a Zone VI cold light at the moment, but missing the clips and screws to secure the light source. Not really needed for THIS light source, but for others, good idea. Sitting on the Beseler Adjus-Table, but missing one of the moveable side bits to use the baseboard on other than the bottom shelf. Wish me luck with Beseler for 'proper' parts, otherwise I can easily improvise for these.

This will put...... possibly 3 smaller enlargers out to pasture, though I'm always tempted to keep a spare.

Have sold all my film cameras, all my old film, moved into a new apartment which meant saying goodbye to my makeshift darkroom. I am now completely digital. Guess this tattoo of a roll of film on my arm is now just a remembrance of things past. At least for me.

35 rolls of 120 b/w
15 rolls of 35mm b/w
200 sheets 5x3.5 b/w paper
50 sheets of 12x9.5 b/w paper
2 Style Council CDs to replace the vinyl I had
Various batteries for cameras in bulk
Now I think I have to get some more film :)
