Dear Board,
I bought 3 lenses that I didn't need because the price was right enough for me.
A Tamron Adaptall 2 90mm f2.8 macro, an Olympus 35mm f2.8 and a Tokina 24-40mm f2.8 Nikon AIS.
Robert's Camera, AKA Used Photo Pro sent me an email saying my loyalty points would expire soon. Being the idiot that I am, I said, "Over my dead body!"
I bought a couple of used Olympus bodies that work perfectly this year, an OM-10 and OM-2SP. I have many 35mm cameras and Adaptall 2 mounts for all of them, some of them in duplicate and even triplicate because of lenses I bought that came with adapters. I bought a Nikon Df this year too and love the ability to use MF lenses on it more than I ever imagined.
I'm pretty sure I'm set now for life, or maybe even to Black Friday! 😉

I've had that exact lens hanging on my N65 for fall foliage season. The leaves are almost all gone, time to finish the roll of film!

In the german language these pieces of furniture are called "Sekretär" / Secretary. These can be locked up to keep private ore business papers or things in "secret". So you use it appropriately. 😉

Somehow, our spouses always figure it out, and I think they get better at it the longer we've been together. If we're lucky, they just roll their eyes and understand that we need our toys. Mine does, and I consider myself very lucky, for that and many other reasons as well.

I don’t think I’ll be buying any more cameras for quite a while — as a matter of fact I think I’ll be doing a pretty good sell-off of cameras this winter.
What we have bought recently is a bunch of stuff for the house — exterior lighting, all the appliances, a poured concrete patio, retaining wall and front steps/landing, decent internet (going from 3mbps to about 150mbps), lower level trim and baseboard, balcony railing, many truckloads of gravel, and hopefully hot water by the end of the week. Hoping to move in before the snow flies.

Partially yes, paritally no. The upper part is a modular home by Bonneville Homes out of Quebec (we chose all the colours and finishes), the ground floor ICF was done onsite and the interior layout was done by us. A lot of things were ad-hoc decisions (such as the concrete patio and retaining wall/steps). For the most part things have worked out. Next year we'll finish the siding plus add the gutters/downspouts.

Yes this is more or less south (actually slightly southeast). The house is pretty gusto, that's for sure.
