Not exactly bought... a friend gave me a Contax IIA + zeiss jena sonnar 50 f2 belonged to his passed away father.
His dad bought it in '54 in Bogotá (Colombia) while he was working there.
My friend is not at all into photography and he told me he would like to give the camera to someone who would use it.

Well, here I am!

The kit comes with instructions (in spanish), a book about the camera and the business card of the shop where it was bought (I already looked for it, it doesn't exist no more).

That's an East German, coated Carl Zeiss Jena lens, which could be original to the camera if it's a very early example. When the manuals were printed, West German Zeiss-Opton lenses weren't available yet so the photos show this version on the camera.

The instructions can be found on the internet. Google it. I paid ~US$3 for mine for the Contax II. Repairs are done well by Oleg at OK Vintage: OKVintageCamera. Have fun.

Thumbie for my M240, so I can use my 21mm finder. Really happy with it, very solid.
Bought it off Ebay from Steve the guy who makes them. Fits M240, M10, M11.
