Was in a Charity Shop in Edinburgh at the weekend and managed to bag a black Canon Canonet G-III QL17 (is that the right order?) in excellent condition (ok the light seals need done but that's in hand) for £10. Oh, and did I say it's the BLACK version?
Stuck a battery in and it seems to be working fine.

Nex-5 with both kit lenses and an M-adapter. Will use with my Zeiss/Leica M-optics, but looking forward to the Zeiss 24/1.7 = 36mm FoV lens for autofocusing convenience. Cancelled my X100 order because of this. Will also hopefully stop dreaming of an M9 for a while at least...

Stopped in a local antique/junk shop today and found a Pentax-M 1:1.4 50mm lens. Priced at $10, I offered $8 and brought it home.
The lens has a generic rear cap and no front cap. It looks almost perfect. The lens has been protected by the two filters on it a Hoya UV and a Hoya polarizer.
Of course, this bargain will ens up costing me some more money as I'll have to buy a camera to put it on.
There was also an early Canon point and shoot--a Canon MC--in its display case with instructions and the dedicated flash. That one looked very good as well until I popped open the battery compartment. I think the load of goo in there were the remains of the batteries it came with in '84!
I decided to pass on that "bargain".

Improving daily--I think.
Just walked in the door with a "new to me" Pentax K100D and 18-55 lens. Didn't really want the lens but the seller wouldn't split them up. Since I already have a K10D and K20D this is kind of a retrogression for me but I've seen some really nice B&W images taken with the 6mp CCD sensor in the K100D and wanted to try it for myself. I know my Digilux 2 with small sensor makes nice B&W jpegs so I'm hoping the K100D will do the same...

Calibration of the Gossen Luna-Pro (bought used for a song) that's been sitting around unused (because it was waaaay off) for all too long. Just came back from Quality Light Metric today and it's spot-on.
