What have you just BOUGHT?

film. $31 for 3 rolls of 120 hp and 2 rolls of 35mm. that is a bunch of money at the birmingham area's only photo store that sells film ...

Nikon D3100, oh my. . . ducking now. I just remodeled the bathroom and cannot run film as I used to. I will figure that out but in the mean time its the D3100.

A pistol grip for my Super Graphic, plus a set of Graphic lens boards and Toyo adapter boards, so all my 4x5 stuff can interchange, as well as a Toyo Compendium lens shade and Toyo ground glass back that came with it.

I just bought 6 Pentax spotmatic, some with lenses for a total of 110 €. Also I got 2 Nikon FT shipped from and to the US and collected by my sister, 40 USD both.
Can't resist to nice steel, glass and good craftmanship.
Most of these goods will be redistributed in various gifts, some, the worse, kept for me.

I love spotties, though I don't have any right now...I have an ESII and an SV, both screwmount but one manual, no meter, the other AE.

Erik, I think the ESII could qualify, since "ES" stands for Electro-Spotmatic. I've had a lovely black ES since new. Now that SV is another classic!

Goodtimes, I hope you enjoy your haul!

Last night, actually early this morning I pulled the trigger on a KEH Bargain grade Mamiya m645 1000s body...
I was interested in another auction for the same camera but found this one at a better price plus KEH has a "No-Cost" 6 month warranty...
Also, looks like it has the Grid Screen in it...back door Film Memo holder is missing paint and I'm guessing that's the reason for the "Bargain" grade rating...I have a better looking door from the body this one will be replacing...

A sleek, sexy black Kiev. Not just any Kiev...but, as Yuri was out of the mass-produced ones (r.e. 'grizzlybear' stuff), he pulled out his own from the case and we came to a deal. Completely disassembled, treated, painted and back together. Now, do these take better pix? Heck no...I cop to buying just 'cause I think they look cool :)

I found this over the weekend. I put some light seals in and now it's ready to rumble.

My most recent was an Om 10 that came with three lenses, case, bag, flash, filters, etc... I bought the set (seller wouldn't sell separately) for the 28/3.5 lens for my recently purchased OM-1n. I now have an extra 50/1.8 lens, lens caps, case and strap for my dear Om-1n. Don't know what to do with the rest. Just had it overhauled along with my Rollei 35. Raring to go shoot some film. There are some Oly XAs out there I've been eying too.

Argh, I must be going insane.

Pulled out the M7/35 Lux ASPH I've been meaning to sell (splurged with gambling winnings in 2003, put only a few rolls/year through it). Remembered how nice the small package was, but they've become entirely too valuable for me to keep.

Bought myself a used Zeiss Ikon for my birthday two weeks ago.
Bought 25 rolls of Tri-X and a smattering of various color options
Ordered a 35/1.4 Nokton SC from Cameraquest today so I can sell the 35 Lux.

thought I was done, except for a V700 and maybe a Plustek down the road

and then...
Just sent a PM agreeing to buy a M3 SS in the classifieds here if it's still available. For some reason chrome and meterless just called to me. Momentarily thought I could use it and the Ikon together for a while and see which spoke to me more, but I'll have to see how I like the 35 on it. Or sell an organ or two and get a nice budget 50.
