What have you just BOUGHT?

Picked up a non-working Rolleiflex 3.5 E for $50. All the issues turned out to be trivial and after a little tinkering around inside it's now fully operational (apart from the meter). My blog post about it:

Congrats! Nothing quite like fixing your own stuff. Last february I received a free Minox 35 with flash and all assorted bits. That one had a non-functioning shutter. Fixed it with an easy repair and it's still working

I just bought a factory repaint M2 black paint.

I am feeling a bit dizzy right now, waiting for the mail.
I didn't want to buy yet another camera, but when I saw this one in the classifieds, It was love on first sight …

Just last week:

1. 10 rolls of Portra 400.
2. 5 rolls of Tmax P3200.
3. 5 rolls of Tri X.

And from the fine folks at Precision Camera:

4. A black Leica M9P (took advantage of their offer to RFF members).

Cheers,

Antonio

Just an example of how harmful "window shopping" could be.
Went out for a walk, and ended up coming home with a Noct-Nikkor 58mm f1.2.
Spent the whole evening trying it out. It's a beaut!

Congrats!
It's on par with the Leica Noctilux in it's beauty - just different ;-)

I was tempted by that black M2 as well!! Enjoy!

agfa optima sensor electronic (very happy about that find), olympus am-100, revue 35fc (simple but quite funny little camera), nikon rf (but i think it's broken) on the flea market today.

I have bought not one, but two Olympus Mju 1. (aka Stylus Infinity) cameras on ebay. The cheapest was 99p and I was the only bidder. looking forward to the postman bringing the cheapest camera I have ever bought. !!

Just received 10x rolls of Kodak Tri-X from Freestyle's Tri-X promotion.

Also hit the purchase button on a beautiful EX Nikon F w/ FTN finder from KEH, including:

-35/2.8 Nippon Kogaku
-50/2 Nippon Kogaku
-105/2.5 Nippon Kogaku

All lenses with their original early front and rear caps and hoods.

Can't wait! I sold my Nikon F about three years ago and have regretted it ever since.

I've gone a bit crazy lately. Last weekend it was a Zuiko 200mm f/4. Today a Canon FD 135mm f/2. I don't even have a body for it. Weird GAS...

Two small Softies from Tom A in red for Leica M6 and X100 plus a Lensmate thumb grip (more importantly, a compensation dial protector!) for my X100. Oh, and there's a Billingham bag on the way from B&H...TW

You're right on the Nikon F.
I've tried other challenger SLRs around the same era, Canon F1 (even though it's really a 70s camera) being one of them, but somehow the difference is just there. I enjoyed shooting the F much more than everything else. I'd say its on par with Leica's M2/M3 in terms of sheer enjoyment.
