What have you just BOUGHT?

Paul, the ME Super is a great little camera. A friend of mine showed me 30 years ago how his ME Super could expose on Auto for a very long exposure that was not even shown on the speed settings. He took photos at night from the top of the CN Tower in Toronto. The camera's shutter was open forever.

thanks, Raid. i will get a faster 50 for it later, i think, plus a longish tele for birds. i am a lousy bird photographer but i like to try. the auto exposure should be a big help in that regard ...

Olympus E-PL1 w/kit lens (refurb from Cameta) and Olympus VF-2 (new).

Camera seems delightful, and I was really thrilled to see "real focus screen like" tiny, etched-looking grid lines (unlike what Panasonic did in the G1).

As I am selling off all my film gear, switching to digital, I had to do the obvious of course... Buy a Bronica kit.

- Bronica SQ-A
- 80mm f/2.8 PS
- One regular 120 back, one SQ-i 120 back
- Waist level finder
- AE prism
- Speed grip
- A box of 120 film

Brilliant move!

A Fuji GA645Zi. Hope to receive it somewhere next week. I also ordered film for it.

Best

Nice one, i was searching for one also, but then a NEX5N+EVF and M6+Summilux came in front of me and made me spend my paycheck and after this i got offered a GA645Zi, but maybe i'll hope it'll be around the next month for me to get it.

Sure, all the new fancy big zooms have a built in tripod mount. But when you're using two pounds of 1970s glass (Vivitar Series 1 70-210) via a weak little adapter on a one pound camera (E-510) you need some extra support. Add in the extra two pounds this thing weighs, put it on a monopod, and you have the anti-thesis of a compact portable camera.

When someone compares my camera to John Holmes, are they complimenting my choice in gear or insinuating that I may be over compensating?

Two old Memory Stick Pro for my "old" Sony V1.
A Voigtländer Color-Skopar 1:2.8/50 DKL with adapter for my NEXes.
A VNEX-Focussystem to use professional enlarger lenses on my NEXes.

OM1, OM4T, Braun Paxette, Jupiter 11 & 12 LTM, Elmar 9cm LTM, Canon 50mm f/2.8 LTM, 35SP & Pen D.

I went a bit crazy last...week.
