What have you just BOUGHT?

Oly epm1. I like the fact that it's smaller than my phone. Possibly might get a pancake lens but the kit zoom seems to be surprisingly nice.

Finally got one!

Finally got one!

Beattie Intenscreen for Olympus OM. It's very clean and it does offer a brighter viewfinder.

An FD 50/1.4 SSC for my F-1, a Stylus Epic, and another Canon S100 to replace the one I sold 3 months ago and realized I can't live without.

New motherboard, i7 and lots of ram. Daddy needs a computer upgrade! Also some nice metalworking hammers. No new photo gear, although the computer parts will be for photoprocessing.

At an estate sale today, was shocked to find a pristine Bausch & Lomb Protar VII (convertible 305mm f/7, 485mm f/12.5, 600mm f/12.5) in a perfect Betax No. 5 shutter, with mounting flange (what a relief!), for a whopping $15 (talked them down from $20). Wow! Lots of large format plans for this one...fun, fun, fun!

Is that for a 4x5 or maybe an 8x10?

Epson RD1S, Leica M8 and Fuji X100.

Gonna do a head to head shoot out. Well, not really, but I'm curious which one will be the keeper.

I owned one of these in a compound. Really great lens on 8x10.

minolta TC-1. Received today. Paying tomorrow. Tiny Tiny Tiny.

Oh, I rather think I can beat that. Waiting for the Minox B I bought on Friday...
Have you had one before? I bought one and used it very little, so I sold it. That was 30+ years ago. Then Frances wanted one, so I bought her one, and she used it very little. That was 20+ years ago. I'll have to see if the person we sold it to ever used it... Gorgeous little camera, but I never seemed to have occasion to use it.

Cheers,

R.

It's a pure toy purchase. If I get some shots I like, that's a bonus. I've got the reflex finder, tripod cradle and binocular attachment coming as well. With four cassettes of Pan F, I've still got some pennies left out of £100.

I used an EX in the 'eighties but never liked the viewfinder and the build quality didn't impress me either. The results were better than I expected, in technical terms, though.
