What have you just BOUGHT?

Another pair of Polaroid SX-70s arrived. Gifts from people who no longer want them. One is a Sonar AF model. Both seem in fine operating condition, the standard model needed a little tweak to the film door so that it latched nicely.

Time to order some more film packs from IP.

My office is awash in Polaroids now!!

Seller just lowered the price on a lens hood I've been watching.....soooooo I bought it...
It's for the Canon 100mm 3.5 FL lens...

Yashica FRII with 50mm f/1.9 DSB and a Tamron 103A 80-210mm f/3.8-4. Both from a charity shop in Grantown on Spey. That completes the 'FR' set as I already have an FR and FRI.

One of those tree-legged things you put your camera on. Can't remember the name right now and I'm not english speaking, so please try to follow :D and a couple of rechargable batteries for the Metz 45-CL4.

I would love to have a 'tree-legged' tripod ( for that is the Greek word you seek, for "3-footed") so I could do architectural and landscape shots from an altitude where parallax would cease being a problem. Three redwoods would do quite nicely, especially if they were motorized.

Now I'll stop being mischievous and say that I am now part of the Sigma DP2 Merrill clan. Oh my goodness, the stories about the resolution are all true (as are the battery stories). And I got a deal on mine. Happy weekend!

I usually store film rolls in the freezer, but there's always a ready supply of unfrozen film. Either because it's new and hasn't been prepped for the freezer, or because I intend to use it soon. I found a great old Kodak bag on Ebay a while ago, and decided to use it to hold said film supply.

From the outside:

And what's in it:

About 50 rolls, with 15 120 rolls in the top part of the bag. Works out quite nicely. All in all, could hold about 120 or so rolls I think.

A nice Rapid Omega 200 with the 90 Omegaron, 180 Hexanon and a 58 Hexanon with finder. Plus the next to last essential essential hardware for my little (soon to be) RA-4 darkroom.

Ellen: labradoodle pictures please - needed to balance out the cat photos in the gallery :)

Just found an Electro 35 in a charity store - couldn't resist, it's in EX condition and came with Yashicor WA and telephoto lens attachments and Yashica Auto-up close-up attachment all in original leather cases, accessory tele-wide finder, cable release and original instruction manual. Everything seems to be working. Can't wait to finish the test roll.

A handy director's viewfinder. I am not a director. But it is a rare vintage Chinese product.:)

An ambition realised

An ambition realised

Just bought a Leica III to go with a Summar I was using on a FED 1. Hope it lives up to expectations. Similar feeling to when I could eventually afford the Contax 139 with 50/1.7 Planar!
