What have you just BOUGHT?

I didn't just buy it, but someone gave me a perfect Nikkor 50mm/f2.0 AI lens and FM2. The lens handles beautifully - the focusing is the smoothest ever. Taking it out today for a run on my D5100.

So now I have four 50mm Nikkors + the 45P + the 55Micro.

New dev tank reels, developer and film! During a long term visit of my Mom, my drying rack (a.k.a. Guest room shower) was unavailable for six weeks. During that time one of my two reels went missing. It will probably turn up in a kitchen drawer, the kids' toy box, or some other silly place. In the mean time I had to dev five rolls one by one. I decided that since they had a few years on them why not buy a pair.

The next two rolls will be the same film at the same ISO setting, so that I can dev two at once, just because I can again! :)

Just arrived - my first LTM lens for the M4, a Nippon Kogaku 5cm H·C f/2. My vintage kit is starting to form...

Well I got myself another 1V, I just missed that camera too much, now I can shoot it alongside my Hexar.

I also picked up a Pentax 50 f/1.7 to use on my X-Pro 1 because it balances perfectly due to the small size, and is a useful focal length at 75mm.

A nice little Contax IIA. It is a surprisingly smooth little camera, winding is easy, the shutter fires at all speeds, and the lens that came with it is remarkably clean and clear.

I just bought a D700 for a very good price. It was in the Classifieds on another photo forum, I made an offer and it was accepted. I also bought the Nikon 35-70 f2.8 at my local photo shop for my new full frame DSLR.

I must say that I haven't really used it yet except for a few images of my new puppy. My main photography this past week was some street photography with my M6 and Leica 28mm Elmarit!

Went into Photoco in the Adelaide Central Market on Friday and put a $500 deposit on a brand new Leica M-E. I should have it in a week or two- a dream come true to put it mildly. My beautiful and much loved M6ttl bought new was destroyed in crossing a flooded stream on a 13 day hike in New Zealand some years ago. It just broke my heart. But those 11 M and LTM lenses that have been sitting in a cupboard unused in the time since will finally see the light of day (literally) again. Happy days ahead. All thanks to a wonderful, beautiful wife who has never denied me anything.

As I am saving money for a FF digital, I have spend only 10 euros for an old Canon EF-M with the EF 35-80 II lens. Does anyone remember those manual focus Canon cameras taking only auto focus EF lenses?
