What have you just BOUGHT?

Last week I bought a Yashica Mat EM, which needed a lot of work - nonfunctioning meter, same with the shutter release button and film advance crank, haze in the lens, and the list went on. But I got it cheap, so I sent it to Mark Hama for a CLA. I got it back tonight! It arrived at his place Tuesday, in Georgia, and back to my house in St. Louis in only 3 days, completely healed! It's beautiful! I've got the whole weekend to run some film thru it!
Nice job Mr. Hama!!!

I just purchased a set of three Hoya PROND neutral density filters (4, 6 and 9 stops) at Kenmore Camera's grand opening. I have often found the need for a ND filter and finally decided to buy these. They were also 20% off - beat the lowest web price by $20. If you live in the Seattle area and haven't been to Kenmore Camera since they moved to their new building then do so this weekend (2/22 & 2/23). They are offering free classes from several different companies and they are giving a 20% discount on almost everything. You can check them out here.

A Ricoh 500G. For a tenner. Worth a punt, I think. I'm told that's not a bad lens on it.

Yes, I fully expect to have to scrape off loads of tacky old foam and put extensive new light seal on. :(

80/2.8 Carl Zeiss Jena Biometar in M42 mount, 80/2.8 Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar in Exakta mount and gorgeous Exakta VXIIa with porous shutter curtains. All beautiful for $322.
