My M9 is at Leica, NJ, awaiting sensor replacement (discovered during a CLA) so I just ordered a mint M4 from Ken Hansen. Cannot decide if M2 or M4 is my favorite film M.

My 1958 M2 is so smooth I find myself checking the rewind knob mid roll to make sure it is advancing. Hope the M4 is as nice. May sell the M9 once it gets back from NJ, not because I find the corrosion on the sensor a pain in the rear (which it is) but because I am finding film more my speed.

Since my Phototherm model 14's thermostat died and then it sprang a leak, I bought the stuff to make a poor man's copy. A plastic table bussing tub ($14) a aquarium heater ($21) and a aquarium pump ($7). Sadly, the Phototherm model 14 is no longer made and I don't think you can get parts anymore.

I saw the Sonnetar 50/1.1 on the classifieds here, decided I'd rather have one in black, instead of the chrome that was for sale...So I went over to eBay and found one that was on an actual auction (as opposed to the usual "Buy it now" listings going for $1600-$1800) ending in a couple hours. I ended up winning a Black Chrome version for a relative steal. Now I just have to wait patiently for my new lens to arrive from Japan. This is my first MS Optical lens.

The Minolta SR-M 250 Exposure Film Back, for the pro-version motorized Minolta SR-M.
I have wanted one of these since I was about sixteen years old.
Very rare.

This one is complete, NEW IN THE BOX, never used at all. Needs new light trapping and interior base foam, so the electrical contacts will line up correctly with the camera body.

I've loaded film in it, and right now, it works fine when advancing the film manually, using the lever wind on the SR-M. As I said, the contacts need to line up between the body and the back. 😎 😎 😎

I bought this "Lika" wooden toy camera. I saw one while searching for pretend cameras for my young son, and saw a picture of one of these. did a quick search and found one up for auction on eBay. I ended up winning it with the opening bid.
