What have you just BOUGHT?

Nikon Coolscan V film scanner

Nikon Coolscan V film scanner

Just bought my first dedicated film scanner. Having an enormous amount of fun using it. I literally have thousands of black and white negatives that I took and developed over the years that I have never printed (even though I have a wet darkroom in my house) given work, family, etc. time commitments. It is really nice to be able to scan and see a bunch of negatives in less than half an hour, some that go back years -- brings back memories. Here is a photo that I took of my wife in the late 1990's before we had kids. (Olympus OM-4T)

Not sure if this counts, but a Parrot Bebop camera drone.

If it doesn't, a Zeiss 100mm f/2 Makro-Planar ZE to upgrade my EF 100mm f/2.8 (non-L).

Black friday is allways my lucky day. I bought a pair of trousers (hate buying clothes) and a beaten up brooks veriwide 100 sitting in a shop window as decoration. Restoring the camera now while wearing the trousers 🙂
Happy friday 13th!

a man after my own heart, l to hate buying clothes, buying photographic gear is so much better🙂

Uh oh, fallen off the wagon again.

Last week, a 1936 Leica III updated to a IIIa-syn, for a mere EUR 150. Worn chrome down to the nickel, just like I like it.

And just now a Jupiter-8 2.0/50mm from 1956, with honey-colored coatings so likely Zeiss lens elements.

I'll be Sweenyfying that lens when I take delivery of it, to assure its optimal working on the little Leica IIIa-syn🙄

sounds like a sweet set up and at that price a bargain🙂
