Got my Nikon SP serviced at Crystal Camera in Asheville NC. The slow speeds did not work and the rf patch was almost invisible. The camera came from Los Angeles and looked like new but unused for many years. After service, everything works and the rf patch is a bit dim but quite useable outside. Crystal camera charged me $175 and took less than three weeks to finish. I've used them for years and have had good luck with them. Joe

I will no longer use out of date film..
Newest Kentmere 400 seems finer grain or I am improving..
Need Kentmere or Ilford as Canonscan won't scan curly film.

Just back from a car boot sale - got an Olympus Trip 35 and an Olympus mju II (Stylus Epic) Zoom 80 both in immaculate condition for the princely sum and a total of £9.50. The mju II by itself cost £1.50. Both now loaded with film and a new battery for the mju. Worth sticking with film.
