What have you just BOUGHT?

I just received one of those original German made rOtring 600 Trio pens I wanted for so many years ;-) It's a fun pen and so useful (blue + red bullpen + 0,7mm pencil, selected by a gravity switch).

If a regular rOtring 600 pencil feels a bit like a regular Leica M, the Trio pen feels a lot like a Leica M5 - it's heavier, bulkier, has more functions, some true engineering ingenuity and even a very similar black chrome on brass finish.

I like it a lot already. And best … I didn't have to pay those silly prices they go for on eBay you could get a Leica M for.

I bought another Contax 139 quartz (30 EUR). I have now two of them, plus AX, plus Aria, plus S2. So when I travel I can now take only Contax cameras - loaded with color negative, slide, BW slow film, BW fast film...

Wireless flash trigger. Fantastic gadget, love it! Now I can make pictures "Bruce Gilden style" without annoying flash cable. 😀

Nice one, Bob. What's your plan for film? Always wanted to try those.

Thanks Sug. I see EFKE 127 is no longer available but I hear B&H has 127 film available, ASA 100, from Japan. Had NO intentions of getting one of these, but I listened to opportunity knock (I will not tell you how good a deal I got) so I answered the door. I like the small size: looks to be portable on the bicycle, and the gray color is a knock out. Now...when do you and I have a pen fest in 2016? At Salgado exhibit at Leica Store/Gallery? Or other venue? Be well.

Overpriced and outdated. But I really like this camera! A rangefinder with manual aperture and shutter speed. Instant (peel apart) film. Fujifilm FP-1. "If I ever sell it I should be able to get about what I paid for it" was my rationalization. Don't tell my wife.

Doesn't Lomography sell those films?

A nice little Rollei 35 (Germany). Complete with a Rollei flash, hood and filter. Everything seems functional. I love this camera. Bought it with the intention of replacing my Olympus Trip 35 as my carry with me all time camera. Kept telling myself the Trip was just too bulky to carry. ;-)
