What have you just BOUGHT?

Ive wanted to try a P But never pulled the trigger on one.

Sounds like a great deal 🙂

If you like your Leicas, do not do it. You will cheat on them and keep the Canon P. It is the sweetest thing, solid and feels lighter., as good as an M2. I had a collection of Canon LTM that I used with my M laicas with an adapter. Using this camera is a dream come true.

I have a Leica, Singular. An M2 that's just perfect now that its back from Mr. Youxin Ye, and a CLA'd Summitar to go with it. More likely, the Canon would replace my poor Bessa R2 as my backup to the Leica. Then again, if I dump my 3 screwmounts for proper M mount lenses sometime in the future the P will be out of luck :-/

I also just bought a 24mm f/1.8 Sigma lens for my pentax kit. It has AF and an aperture ring, so it gets to play on everything from the K1000 and MX to the digital 😀

28mm Elmarit-M new
35mm Summicron-M Asph. used
M6 TTL body used
All bought a month ago. I'm using the 35mm with the M6, and putting the 28mm on my Zeiss Ikon. Haven't finished the first rolls yet. It would be interesting to see the result of the Elmarit compared with that of my Contax G28.

On it way in the mail, Argus C3 screw mount to micro 4/3 adapter and an adapter to mount Mamiya 645 lenses on Nikon F. I have the standard set of Argus C3 focal lengths (35, 50, 100, 135) and they are so tiny all of them could fit in a jacket pocket. So I think they'd be fun on micro 4/3.

I don't have any really nice Nikkor lenses that fit my full-frame Nikon, so I'm looking forward to being able to adapt the Mamiya lenses. Maybe what I've read on the Internet is true, medium format lenses aren't as sharp as 35mm lenses, but I'd like to see. I can't imagine that a professional medium format lens is less good than the Nikon kit and cheap third-party lenses I own.

In my possession, m42 to micro 4/3. Playing with an Industar 50-2 attached today. I also intend to use macro bellows and m39 to m42 adapter to use a nice Fujinon 135mm enlarging lens for both standard and macro shots.

A 58mm-77mm step-up ring and a 77mm standard metal lens hood for my 35mm-70mm lens (17A).

A 'taster pot' of 'supernova' coloured matt paint. Actually, it's matt black.

Ruddy 'supernova' colour! I wouldn't mind but a 'supernova' is big star exploding. Rather bright and not very matt black at all.

I bought it 'cos even though the lens hood is black, it isn't very 'matt black'. I'm waiting for it to dry.

A short-dated 3x box of Lomog. colour 400 film (£6) and a short-dated 3x box of Lomog. Lady grey 400 mono film (£8). I was informed that even though they're at a reduced price, they are on a 'buy one get 2nd half price' deal, so I only paid £11.

Just nabbed a CV 35 / 2.5 from Aperture that was boxed and as new with hood for £290. Such a little beast of a lens, and on my R3A I've found the 1:1 viewfinder / 35 focal length surprisingly natural. First test roll showed some beautiful rendering on Fomapan 400 at 2.5 so couldn't be happier.

Might get hung out to dry for this one... a mint Fuji F31fd from ebay for around £15 inc. postage. Mainly for the 6.3mp CCD sensor. It only gives 9x7' prints at 300dpi but they have more character than CMOS. Useable IQ from 100-800 for low light and a pin sharp lens that equivalents 36 / 2.8. Lives in my back pocket when I'm out and about now.

A 'Tecno' compact camera case. It's very small, just big enough for my Gossen variosix f with dome attached and the 5 deg 'spot' attachment in a separate pocket.

A 'Tecno' gadget bag. Looks like their medium bag but smaller. It's got my Ricoh 500GX, a slotted lens hood, a blower brush, 4 film canisters, 1 green filter and 1 yellow-green filter. It just fits that stuff in so it'd be a bit of a squeeze if I actually get the yellow and the orange filters I'd been thinking about.

Just ordered a Tamrac 'Stratus 6' bag for my nikon stuff. I paid £64.99 for it. I think it'll be a little bit big, but I couldn't find anything as close to what I wanted.
