I just bought a Canon EOS 1DMK3 from a member of one of the message boards I visit and a Sigma 150-600 OS C from B&H.

I was going to be content with the new to me camera, but when I got the email with an additional $ 150.00 off the lens and next day shipping I took the leap.

Watch out birds and wildlife, I'm gunning for you!

Loved mine when I had it with a 21/4 Color Skopar.

I have this lens coming to me this week to go on the Canon 7 I have now. A Type-6 Canon 50mm f/1.8 LTM, basically Serenar optics, but with the newer lighter alloy body, and 8 blade aperture (which has the octagon's edges curving inward) instead of the 9 or 10 the other types came in.

I've just got a hard case for my tamron 17A lens which was designed for a tamron O9A. It fits, although I think I'll have to be careful about the focusing lugs.

The case did stink a bit though. I've sprayed it inside with dettol anti-stink stuff. It's not so bad now.
