What have you just BOUGHT?

If you Monitor is an earlier one you can use clipped 120 rolls in it with a 620 take up spool. I shoot mine that way. Great camera, if your bellows are light tight.

Shawn

The bellows has a few pinholes, but nothing that can’t be patched, and the shutter needs a CLA, but the lens looks excellent.

Last month I started building a Nikon and Contax RF collection. All the Nikon and Contax RF gear in my signature was acquired in that time.

Today I'm expecting a mint CZJ 13,5cm f/4 lens!

Car boot sale period just started. Got this one for £20.

I'll match your Sonnar and raise you a Tessar:

No, not the Fuji, look closer. Perhaps it will be easier to see on top of my Agfa:

Yup the greatest Tessar camera the world has ever seen. A gen-u-whine Made in Germany Rollei A110.

(just got it, hope it works..)

1968 M4. I used a camera like this one for decades and then no leicas for 15 yrs while using for 5x7 & medium format. It's now off to DAG for a retrofit for the Leicavit & a CLA....also will get the 135 framelines masked. Great old warhorse replaces my MP which sold in a few hours. Looking forward to that familiar feel in the handIMG_6114 by Greg Yavorsky, on Flickr

Can you still find film for the 110?
How is shooting with the Agfa?

Lomo still makes film for it - B&W, colour, slide.

The Agfa 1535 really is nice. Absolutely huge VF with a surprisingly delicate shutter release. (A good thing). Solid metal body. Only issue for me is the focus feel is not very smooth, and the RF spot moves in the opposite direction from the focus ring.
It looks remarkably like a Plaubel Makina.

The 1535 is the only one out of this 'modern' Sensor Optima series that has RF focusing. All the other ones are scale focus.

Sold/selling all my aps-c gear -- cameras, lenses the whole shebang, going full frame everything. Traded up for:

1. Two used low actuation D600 bodies. Have one. One on the way. (Best value on the used FF market imo due to early production problems with shutter spooks buyers [so buy through a retailer with good return policy... the usual suspects], specs still relevant and has a heckuva sensor slightly better than 750 per DXO rankings...) Two because if you take on the occasional paid job, gotsta have a back-up. Used prices make this doable.
2. Nikon 50mm 1.4 AF-D (Gotta have a nifty-fifty. Rates same as newer 1.4 on DXO) Again, a steal on the used market.
3. Nikon 85 1.8 G. Went with the newer one. Man that's a sharp lens. Excellent.
4. Tokina 17-35 F4 Pro ATX. Gotta have a wide zoom. Well made, reasonable price, good optics.
5. Yongnou 685 flash
6. Yongnou 622 TX transceiver (on its way)
7. New tripod -- forget which.

All in the last few weeks.

-- add a couple new camera bags. One a canvas messenger style with inserts, snother a small camera and lens slinger... and a flash/umbrella mount.

Traded some 16" 16mm reels with an unknown feature film and extras for a non-working, parts missing, Bell & Howell Filmo 70-HR KRM.

A friend gave me a parts Bell & Howell Filmo 70-D.

Took me a few hours to clean the KRM up a bit and part-out a few missing parts to get this:

Shown with my PH-430-B

Still need to find a 400' frame counter, and the spring drive belt, and a 12v motor drive, and a tripod that can take the darn thing! 🙂

I've just received a Ferrania Elioflex model 1 from ebay

£14.50 inc P+P. Looks as good as anyone could hope for, with a bright viewfinder and seems to work. I've already got a film in and I'm not sure about the size pf push on hood it'll take.

Edit: Forgot to add photos, lol.

Edit 2: Taken some slightly better pics myself:

New Leica Q arrived a couple of days ago, along with accessory handgrip, and separately a Nitecore battery charger. This will be a new experience for me, as I've not previously used a "mirrorless" camera. It seems to have a useful mix of abilities and a good user interface...
