50mm Summilux Pre ASP V2 in like new condition, by the serial number it looks like it was made in 1968.


Arrived this morning so I've been spending the morning chasing/shooting my cats at F 1.4 🙂

... this time the right right angle finder —— there's no name on it, but then when new it was quite certainly the most expensive on the market (except there was an Alpa right angle finder?); anyways, on my Bessa R2, it works like a charm —— I just had to add the original Voigtländer «Double Accessory Shoe, Type C», and as a means against stray light I left the aforementioned Nikon DK-22 inbetween 🙂
 
I finally took the plunge so to say concerning Piezography kit. I'll be spending part of this weekend converting my Epson 1430 over to B&W only printer.
 
A Kodak No.1A Folding Pocket Special from 1909-1912, useable with 120 format thanks to an adapter kit from Camerhack. It's like a "miniature" version of the No.3A Folding Pocket.

I paid for this on ebay last Thursday (29/11/81) and received it shortly before 3pm today (3/12/18). It came from Italy. Click on thumb for big pic:



A Pentacon Electric 29mm lens.

I can't find anything wrong with it, but the aperture ring is a little stiffer to move than usual and as usual for pentacon lenses the aperture indents are rather light, so sometimes the indent halfway between f22 and f16 feels like it isn't there, but going from f16 to f22 usually shows it is there, especially if I go slow.

It's absolutely not unusual that there's no half stop between f/22 and f/16; this was standard until recently, erm 1970s, or so, before microchip-nonsense and cheapo plastics were built even into expensive lenses. —— Roger Hicks could explain the reason why, do you have any of his books? I think it's explained in his book «A History of the 35mm Still Camera».
 
Nikon AF Micro-NIKKOR 200mm f/4D IF-ED (enough semi-meaningless initials from Nikon, huh?), used. For my D600 - can't wait to play with this lens!

I'm used to fairly light lenses, and this one's hefty, for me, at least: 2.61 lb / 1185 g - I'll be using my tripod, definitely - has a sturdy mount
 
Nothing photographic, however l have just added three fountain pens to my small collection, a Parker Slimfold, (1964/5), a modern Jinhao 750 and a parker demonstrator, (circa mid 90's), with see through green ink chamber
