I took some photos a decade or so ago with a Contina with the Novar lens as I recall, the non-removable one. I had an external rangefinder and it worked out pretty well, although it was a bit of a pain to get everything working together well. Nice photos; definitely had that 'tessar' look to them in my opinion. And I've always loved how they feel. Such quality little machines!
 
Just bought a Voigtlander 15mm M-mount version III lens w/15mm Voigtlander viewfinder from Stephen at CameraQuest. Super fast overnight shipping, arrived safe and sound this morning, and renders beautifully on my M9.

I just got a 35mm/F2.5 Color Skopar. I purchased mine from Stephen Gandy's Cameraquest too. It shipped right away and got here to the East coast very quickly. I've shot about a roll and a half with it on the M4. I haven't developed any of the film yet, but it looks to be a great walk around lens.
 
A shroud for the back of my excellent summilux 35mm pre-aspheric lens that came without one. The matching shroud was purchased this month from Leica. I sent the lens and shroud to DAG who machined and installed it so that I can use the lens on digital Leica bodies without problem.
 
Something I wanted...a Kodak projection print scale for $3 ! I have the Delta one, but it's steps are too far apart making it hard to use. Also, a Kodak 2001 Pocket Photoguide for another $3 !

A cheap, but very much happy making Christmas gift to myself!

Another new lens for me. Bausch & Lomb 159mm F2 Super Cinephor. Intended for 70mm and 35mm theatrical film projection. Uber speed for this focal length. Pushing the envelope.

Petzval lens of unknown make. This one is going to major fun to use! Swirly Petzval bokeh, hopefully F3.0

Around two hundred years old. Needs a good clean and a mounting flange.
 
After an informative discussion here at RRF, I did go ahead and purchase a Rolleiflex 4.0 FW, in like-new condition. Then, icing on the proverbial cake, I added a yellow filter and a new-in-box Rolleiflex lens shade, Bay IV,, purchased from Leica-Lisse in Holland. Good experience with them, too.
 
A c.1890 Lancaster Instantograph (half-plate size), with three double plate holders and three lenses. Unfortunately, two of the lenses are of a larger diameter than the mounting flange. Maybe I could find their proper flange and then manufacture a new frontal board... Anyway, I also bought some days later a quite similar lens (with diaphragm) and with it's own flange.

I bought a set of Vivitar brand Extension Tubes for Canon FD mount lenses...I have a set in the Nikon mount and use them all the time...

I have several that I love and are very sharp...
I have the Nikon x2, Canon FD x2 and M42 adapters...
90mm 2.5 SP
28-50mm 3.5-4.5 CF MACRO
28-70mm 3.5-4.5 CF MACRO
35-70mm 3.5 CF MACRO
 
An Enna Munchen Ennalyt 95mm f2.8. This is an unusual lens in a very unusual focal length. It is a triplet according to some internet sites which I ma inclined to believe as its quite light. But others have referred to it as a 4 element design so I am not sure. (If it is a triplet I imagine it to be somewhat like the Zeiss Triotar which is also sharp though tend to be slower than f2.8 so perhaps a four element design is more likely). In any event when stopped down a bit it is surprisingly sharp -at least enough for nice portraits. Cost $50 Australian (about $35 US) at this price I could not resist - especially given it is in that 90-100mm range which I enjoy so much.

According to info in the below link, it's a 4-element, 3-group design...

The Ennalyt 95/2.8 seems to be a four elements design, and perhaps the -lyt points to it being a dialyte construction.

Thanks Doug. I had seen that diagram but other references I saw referred to it as a triplet. Perhaps they meant "modified triplet". But this diagram is nothing like any modified triplet I have seen - e.g. Tessars where one lens element was divided into a cemented pair.

Arrived today; Contax I (version 7 according to Kuc's book) with CZJ 5cm f/2.8 Tessar.

Curtain straps are alright, but the shutter and focus helical are stiff.
Will get the once over in the new year.
