Apart from the Canon EOS650, I found a very nice nickel Elmar 35mm f3.5 and a Summicron R 35mm f2. I think and I keep saying this, this completes what I want and need by way of lenses and bodies.

I need to track down a reasonable 35mm finder for the Elmar - my Russian turret finder just overwhelms the Leica III - it is much more in proportion with the M3.
 
it even came with extra bits (the tube and screws at the front of the "group photo") - it had been adapted to use for enlarging with a custom iris-tab-holder-thinghy and blocked collapsawhatsits. Biggest issue is actually not the divot in the flint but the mangled front crown retaining ring: it's cross threaded and too mangled to extract with my spanner, so the element has ~0.5mm play. test photos will go in the 50/3.5 Elmar thread when they're developed & scanned!
 
Red and Skylight filters in Bayonet 1 for my YashicaMat, 2 rolls of HP5 35mm-24 to test some cameras that need DX coded film and Heico Perma-wash from B & H.

Awaiting delivery of a set of Spiratone close-up lenses for the YashicaMat.
 
Bought a 20 year old Polaroid SprintScan 35 Plus for EUR 35 and a few bucks shipping.

My old PowerMac G4 loves it with an old version of VueScan, took a few reboots and Tadaaa! it was working. Pretty impressed with the 2700dpi and the thing is FAST!

Now I need to find an extra film strip holder, it came with only one and they are flimsy... :eek:

This is the Calumet Archival Print Washer I just bought for $250. Weighs a ton when empty, takes seventeen gallons to fill. Mine needs a bit of work but appears OK, 30 day return at the store where I purchased it. I will replace all the clear tubing, and the top right overflow "T" appears bent, maybe it dosen't leak?? We will see soon. This unit will archivally wash twelve 16x20 fiber prints, or 24 8x10s in one go. This was a $650 print wash in it's last years in the Calumet catalog. I think it was made by Gravity Works? A Thing of Beauty in my opinion............

The compartments are sealed so you be almost done washing a set of prints, and then drop in another print freshly loaded with fixer, it won't contaminate the other washing prints. Very cool

The Guy with the sink says his wife wants him to keep it for wet plate. So back to building a custom wood sink............

I had that scanner too. A real workhorse that I loved. I don't know where mine is today....I think I got rid of it when my various computers (upgrades) stopped supporting SCSI. For a while I had an Adaptec 4920 PCMCIA card to be able to use that scanner. Eventually those slots were eliminated from modern computers as well.

I'm happy and impressed you have a working solution. That scanner will serve you well. I even once replaced the little fluorescent tube in mine to keep it going...an easy job. Well made scanner.
 
a 4x5 double plate holder for my Rochester Premo-B camera. Now I will be able to take 4 pictures in each trip, either plates or film (with sheaths)
 
Knowing its flaws and that I only shoot stills, I bought a Canon RP. I already have some Canon EF glass and I like its small size and light weight.
 
Yesterday I picked up a small lot of Konica SLR's and lenses.

First, a black FS-1 with a Hexanon 52mm f1.8 from the early-Seventies, with "EE" as the automatic aperture marking and a chrome focus ring.... This one is even older than my dad's beloved 52mm lens on his T3n.

Second, a black FP-1 with a Hexanon AR 40mm f1.8 pancake lens. (That "Hexanon AR" means this was a budget lens, probably the original kit lens with the camera.) This is an odd camera because its AE mode is weird, but it can still run in aperture-priority mode like any Autoreflex. This camera seems to work well... I'll find out when I develop the roll.

Third, a Hexanon 135mm f3.5 telephoto with both caps in very clean, undamaged condition. It too is old enough to have "EE" as its automatic aperture marking.

Unfortunately, the FS-1 crashes when I press the shutter button, but resets when I pull the batteries out and put them back in. I have another FS-1 or FT-1 with a broken battery holder around here somewhere, so I'll try to Frankenstein good bits together to see if I can get a working motorized SLR going.

The lenses are all in great shape, so I have great hopes for those.

3X 35mm Ilford Delta 3200, to have another go at a project that didn't come out too well a few weeks ago. I focused on the people looking at photos and paintings in an art gallery, but the lighting was quite low and the people mostly wore dark clothing so the paintings and photos weren't quite in focus and you couldn't really tell if the people were in focus. I'm also not that good at holding the camera (a ricoh 500gx) steady enough at 1/60. Some were done at 1/125 but the depth of field wasn't enough for both exhibits and people to be in focus.

I've decided to use one roll at 3200 and the other at 6400, juts to see what happens.
 
A slightly damaged Houghton-Butcher Commando from 1948, and an unnamed but probably German 13x18 tailboard camera with roller blind shutter and Rodenstock lens.

I recently bought a used Pentax KP so I can enjoy my collection of K mount lenses. So far I am pretty impressed with it. The sensor is definitely a step above my former 16mp cameras and the AF is improved as well. So far so good. I would recommend this camera, especially if you have some Pentax glass sitting around.
