My M5s need red dots!
The ultimate Leica R zoom: a Vario-Elmar 28-90 f2.8-4.5, from Photo Video International in Christchurch, NZ. The person who sold me the lens, Greg, was tremendously helpful.
The idea was that this lens would replace my other R zoom, a Vario-Elmar 28-70 f3.5-4.5... but I doubt it. This one is VERY heavy, so it'll remain for special occasions...
EDIT: BTW, the pic is from the seller, not mine. The lens is currently in service on my R9.

Funny Fransico I just picked up the same lens! I don't feel its so heavy for what it is! Got a crazy deal at $1850, even in these crazy times still some deals out there on Leica gear!
Here it is with my recently purchased SL! (another good deal)
Did you win it at eBay? I was bidding on a copy of this lens perhaps a month ago, and it sold for around $1852. I know... I was short probably $3.00!
Oh, well... I got mine for some $2,800 (which is still below the offerings here). Classic Connection had two, one for $3,400 and the other for $3,100. Both in box and looking fairly mintish, but I still went for the one in NZ because the exchange rate was very favorable and they shipped it for free.
Now... enjoy your mirrorless Leica!

This Linhof Master Technika, lenses, cams, holders, etc. is scheduled to arrive tomorrow and I'm just here killing time until that happens. I'm planning to shoot 4x5 handheld like a crazy person.

Very nice. For added fun, get yourself a Grafmatic film holder (six sheets) and you can enjoy “burst mode” with your 4x5:

Silver Chrome M10 R when I could not get silver chrome M10 replacement for corroded M9P.
KILLER CAMERA and pair it with Capture One. Photos need very little editing with 2021 version unlike previous Photoshop from adobe.
Also got a Mac Mini one terabite . Best computer I ever had. Eiso monitor so I can see what is going on

Thanks for that. I didn't know those were a thing! Guess I won't need that EOS 1DX after all

Sorry Fransisco, this is that lens! Wouldn't thought I would ever owe this one, my first R zoom lens! Need to try it on the R7 with some film.

A narrow neckstrap, 40.5mm metal lens hood and 40.5mm spacer ring (to screw onto the lens hood to make it a tidgy bit deeper), for my 2nd Minolta 110 slr mkII.

An FLM 38FTR ball head with some recommendation help from Nick the Tasmaniac.
The head seems really well built and locks down firmly with a light twist once adjusted. The tilt function that eliminates any unwanted ball movement to the side is a welcomed feature.

I guess I never posted when I got this back in the spring -- Rolleiflex T, metered early grey version, with cap and case, 16 exposure mask, Rolleifix, Rolleinar 2, various series filters, instruction booklets; all in great condition. Several rolls of film too (Pan F mainly). Purchased from the nephew of the original owner, who bought it in Toronto circa 60 years ago.

Always been curious about the TC1. Let us know how it goes. I always thought they vignetted too much for my taste, but this shot looks very nice. Lovely.
Just being churlish, but I’d clone out the people in the water, make it a horizontal 5x7 as well, unless they’re family, in which case don’t.
I’ve been sitting here with my thumb over their heads to see how that would look.
Always the critic, pay no attention.

Nah, leave 'em in, they add a bit of "hmm, what bit do they play in this photo?", otherwise it's just a person on a pier-thing, though I admit with them in, the pic may not be as pretty as it probably would be without them.
