The 80-200/4.5 is up there also. While I'm waiting for my Mojo to return, I ordered a very used Nikkor 35-70/3.5 manual focus zoom. It will be my second one--my first is now so loose it sounds like a percussion instrument in a Latin band. With the exception of the 43-86, many of the early Nikkor zooms are outright marvels. 25-50/4, 28-45/4.5--some sweet lenses there. The only downsides are their maximum aperture and dark screen focusing.

And the 50-135/3.5. These aren't early zooms, which the poster seems to be emphasizing. but these two are excellent -- they make a nice two-lens "walking around outside" kit.Try the 28-50/3.5![]()

The front element doesn't rotate when focusing -- very useful with polarizing filters.Yes! I have this one. Cheap and very underrated.

SP is in nice shape overall. A little haze in the accessory finder, main finder is pretty good. Decent contrast for the second image, about the same as my S2. Looks like their is some film inside the protective glass on the front so I may try and clean that out.
The frameline operation is a little finicky though. They are sticking sometimes. Any recommendations for who CLAs the SP?

A Summaron-M 28mm f/5.6 is on the way. Also an E34->E39 step up ring.

Beat up and some cleaning require Leica R 100mm 2.8 APO MACRO Elmarit. It's now on way to DAG. These lenses are out of my league expensive when mint. that's why I could pay very little on a whim.
EC-TL with H version 50mm 3.5 (w/ hood) and Zenzanon 150mm 3.5. Just came in. IT WORKS
Who ever says the the EC series is quieter than an S2/2a is joshing you.

The EC-TL is one sweet camera, if you can find one that's fully functional. Congrats on doing so! My EC is quieter than both of my S2a's (both CLA'ed), but only slightly. But it definitely shows less vibration when fired, with less mechanical craziness going on inside. The EC cameras are altogether more refined in features and performance, but definitely the less attractive of the two.Lets see....
