Just ordered film, Ektachrome 100 in 120. Long story short, I just did the math: with film, processing, and shipping to the lab, it works out to $32.40 per roll. Every time I push the shutter on a 6x6, that's $2.70. YAAAAHHHH!!!!

Makes me think, how great we had it back in the late 1970's, shops were full of film, every chemist and garage stocked it not to mention the camera shops, and there were labs everywhere too, happy days. I kind of mis walking into a shop and seeing a wall of film boxes behind the counter.Just ordered film, Ektachrome 100 in 120. That's interesting. A pack of Polaroid 600 B&W or Color is now US$19.99 or about US$2.50 per exposure. I haven't used 120 format transparency film in years, had no idea the prices had risen that much. Once Upon A Time it was half the cost of Polaroid...Just ordered film, Ektachrome 100 in 120. Have you looked into developing E6 yourself? I've never done it but C41 is easy and cuts the cost way down.

I recently loaded my R8 E100 and sent to Fujifilm pre paid processing. It took a bit to of time to receive. there was a note in the package of slides said "light leaks". I lost about 8 first shots , not from a light leak (these cams are bomb proof) but owner screw up. I forgot to reset the exposure alternatives from the F (ie flash) to P (program). E6 is very expensive and mistakes are costly. That's interesting. A pack of Polaroid 600 B&W or Color is now US$19.99 or about US$2.50 per exposure. Our septic system would never withstand it, and our water is so mineral-laden it's barely fit to drink. Nothing toxic; it just tastes like flat Alka-Seltzer.If you want to feel better about that cost per click I'll lend you a Kraken 6x24.

However, I'll take the Kraken on long-term loan!

You've started a Dr. Seuss-style rhyme in my head, but I'll spare you the pain.A SBLOO and some glue.
I wouldn’t have mentioned the glue but it rhymes so well with the SBLOO and it is for replacing shutter curtains, View attachment 4839875View attachment 4839876so it counts.

Another way to feel better about the cost per click is to check FP-100C prices. 🤑If you want to feel better about that cost per click I'll lend you a Kraken 6x24.

I still have about 30 packs, paid 11 EUR/pack, so the question - do I use current prices or my historical cost
