My inner voice told me to press the "Buy" button. I had no choice. A handful (18) of film cassettes for the Nikon F and the rangefinder.

The shipment consisted of four different types: 200, 400, and 1600 ASA, and two without scales. These are probably the oldest.

Two different locking mechanisms.

But only two canisters. No matter. I've already printed some for the remaining 16.

Now I just need to buy enough bulk film so I can fill them all.

Your idea is very commendable.
With a 50-meter roll of Fomapan, for example, you can fill 31 to 32 cartridges.
A 50-meter roll of Fomapan 100 costs €68 ex works in the Czech Republic, excluding shipping costs. That works out to approximately €2.20 per cartridge fill.
If you spend more than €370, shipping to Austria or Germany is free. The Czech Republic is our neighboring country, and the factory is about 250 miles from me.
You can't shoot film any cheaper.

Be careful with the Nikon cartridges; they often command insane prices. It's worth monitoring the market.
There are different cartridges, one for Rangefinder / F and an other for the F2. For F2 ya need the AM-1.

This week I bought a Fujifilm RR-80 remote release and a JJC TM-k remote release/intervalometer for my Fujifilm X-S1 camera. Both work well and the latter doesn't even need it's batteries if only being used for autofocus and firing the shutter.

Aha, can I give a piece of advice? I have the same camera and ended up changing the capacitor due to malfunctioning. And the problems came back.
Actually, sometimes it is the battery cap that needs to stay in white vinegar overnight to clean the corrosion and clean the threads on the bottom plate where it screws on. That did the trick for me.

Actually, sometimes it is the battery cap that needs to stay in white vinegar overnight to clean the corrosion and clean the threads on the bottom plate where it screws on. That did the trick for me.

How does the battery capacitor look like (do you have a picture)?

I see, thanks! Don‘t know how I didn’t think of the cap, somehow I associated „cap“ with capacitor 😁.

luckily i have two of them, plus an x700. all working perfectly..

The lenses were ordered Sunday 6/15/25 and arrived at my home in Pennsylvania today before lunch. That kind of service and efficiency is unbelievable to me, even though this seller does it every time! 🙂

I had the serious hots for one of those 200/2.5s, they came out just before I had to make the shift to Nikon.

Crap. Sometimes I put starting bids on eBay items for things that I’m sure will sell for more, but occasionally I end up with that item for the starting bid. In this case it happened with a cleanish 75 prefix black F2 with DE1 and a chrome nose Nikkor-H 50/2. Oh, well - you really can’t have too many plain prism F2s.

I keep looking. 😜

Just ordered a lens adapter for my Graflex Norita 66 that enables me to use my Hasselblad 1000f lenses. I also picked up an Ikoflex II (lever focus) in really nice shape but I don’t think I’m going to keep it.

Sounds reasonable but in case of my xd5, the diodes in the viewfinder lit up but the camera behaved strangely (the mirror hung up etc.). It was indeed a corroded battery cap!
