What I'm currently regularly using...

I have a prewar Rolleiflex Automat just like yours. It was my first medium format camera. I have never seen another one in person, and rarely see them online.

I kept telling myself my 'Cord III was good enough but I found that Automat for a steal of a price and oh, it is so much better than a Rolleicord and I still think my Rolleicord is a lovely camera. It shows it's years on the outside but runs smoothly.

I got a good deal on mine, too. When I was 15, my dad and I went to a photo swap meet and we got that camera for $50. Even back then, 39 years ago, that was a steal.

I am not a TLR person and haven't used a Rolleiflex either but my Rolleicord is a much better camera than the 2 Ikoflex I had and also better than the Ricoflex, Voighlander Brillant (focusing version with the Heliar lens) and the YashicaMat that I had and used.
