I am new to posting here at the forum, although I have visited for quite some time now. Great forum and great members!
Here's my question - I have been watching some of the for sale adds for Contax G1's and noticed the term "LCD bleed". What is it? Is it fatal? Do they all get it eventually? Is it expensive to fix?
Thanks for any information you can give me.

The LCD panel is "leaking" its "liquid" internally, and that portion of the screen turns black. It means the LCD will be inoperative. Repaired by replacing the LCD panel, and that is likely top be expensive.
When Nikon first started using LCD's in the F3 they cautioned that it would have to be replaced every 7 years. It is rare that one gives out, but it does happen.

Thanks, Brian! I imagined it was something along these lines!
